Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer criticized Michael Moore for Twitter comments he made Sunday.

Meyer responded to the tweet in a post on Scout:
"I'm sure that his grandfather, who died serving this country, is rolling over in his grave knowing that his grandson is using him to justify him calling U.S. servicemen cowards. I'd be willing to bet that at some point during his grandfather's service, he was watched over by U.S. snipers, and probably had his life saved more than once by U.S. snipers during the war.
"I served as a Marine sniper for three years, and I believe the film American Sniper depicted what we do perfectly. A sniper's primary goal is to eliminate ground threats for U.S. guys on the ground. Is that what a coward is? A person whose goal is to save the lives of his warrior brothers?

Here’s to Moore choking on a ham sammich.
Snipers serve partly to take out other snipers, and more so to pinpoint and take out the lead elements in an attacking column.
An oncoming influx of enemy will try to take out the sniper first, making the sniper one of the more courageous of members of the defending force.
He want to choke on a pastrami sandwich, as choking on a ham sandwich has already been done...

I wish there was a way our brave soldiers could protect our country and everyone in it BUT NOT Michael Moore. The fat man can hire another dozen bodyguards to protect himself and his seven mansions.
What goes around, comes around. Not even a 100 bodyguards will be enough if a member of the sniper community decides to take Moore’s comments personally.
All things being equal, it’s probably not really a smart thing to aggravate a professional class of people whose primary claim to fame is the ability to dispense death from a very long ways away.
Moore knows he is safe because no actual sniper would be that “cowardly.”
Yeah but you don’t have to be a sniper to hit that fat ass from 5 miles.
Hey, his movies aren't masterpieces of original thinking either.

God bless this wonderful serviceman, but I think we’d all be better off just ignoring that pig named Moore and anything he says. He loves the attention, so why give it to him?
