California judges will no longer be allowed to participate in nonprofit youth groups, such as the Boy Scouts of America, that discriminate against LGBT people.
At the same time the justices lifted a ban on judges belonging to a military organization now that gays and lesbians can serve openly in the U.S. Armed Services. The change comes as transgender individuals are still barred from becoming service members, though the policy is reportedly under review.
In the case of the scouting group, although it now allows out youth to belong, it continues to ban LGBT adults from serving as troop leaders.

Seems to me that this flies in the face of the Constitution. Just wonder if any of the “judges” will litigate the “rule.”

Even though I kicked them out of my life over a year ago, it’s sad to see a once great organization squander their legacy.

It should have happened the other way around. The Boy Scouts should forbid judges from contact with Boy Scouts. The judges have demonstrated their immorality, and deserved to be shunned by good company.
So are all of the sexual deviant, California “judges” going to establish ties with sexual deviant groups. The Man Boy love association and such? Freaks.
Between the lines: CA judge butthurt and angry the Boys Scouts won’t let him touch little boys with impunity.
It is a clear violation of the freedom to peacefully assemble.
Good question. How can this sort of rule for what judges are doing in their private lives, away from official duties, be legal in the first place???
So, judges are not allowed to be involved with the Boy Scouts, but ARE freely permitted to work with a reprehensible group such as NAMBLA. Since NAMBLA is all about pushing adult child homosexual sex, they don’t discriminate. So that organization is OK.
What the hell happened to any sort of moral compass in this country????
Is it any wonder why the number of boys in the Boy Scouts is steadily decreasing?
Their membership has been falling since a rock since they changed their policy.
Further evidence that the American Judiciary favors the criminal and perverted elements of our society. Thought must be given to means of controlling the judiciary.
The Scouts should insist on a change of venue to another state where the judiciary does not have a prejudicial rule baked into every judge in the state.
Wait a minute, didn’t they open the doors a few years ago, but then it’s still discrimination for what?
Compared to murdering infants before they're born, everything else comes easy.

The Boy Scouts are still considered discriminating even though they already said that homosexuality is not a basis for being kicked out. Guess you can’t appease the wierdos.
It’s as much discrimination as parents keeping a teen girl away from me, that is the point.
