Tracy Martin, father of Trayvon Martin, will speak at Texas Tech’s Black Excellence Gala, according to KFYO.
The event is being hosted by the Iota Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, to commemorate Black History month.
“We are more than excited to bring Tracy Martin to Texas Tech to aid in the efforts of diversity the university is working toward,” said Bobby Akinboro, social chairman of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity in a news release. “We hope this event brings about a revitalization of humanity of all people, no matter race.”

Does everyone know that Sabrina Fulton didn’t raise Trayvon full time past the age of 2??? And that the two of them have not been a couple since Trayvon was a little boy. Yet they go around, making these joint appearances, as if they were an intact family, and as if Trayvon was a good boy.
The media glossed over and ignored many inconvenient truths as they pushed the Trayvon story. On other issues, liberals tell us we need to confront inconvenient truths. But on the issue of black gang wanna be types such as Trayvon, kids who are raised in ad hoc circumstances, and start going down a bad road in life, we are supposed to ignore those truths.

Nobody ever says anything about how blacks are over represented in the NBA. And I wouldn’t think anything of it either, as I believe in sports, best players should be the ones who play professionally. If as a group, black players are the best basketball players, so be it.
But then it strains believability to imply that if blacks are under represented in some areas, that it must be due to racism.
