Sen. Marco Rubio is the latest potential presidential candidate to weigh in on the vaccination debate, coming out strongly in support of vaccinating children.
"Absolutely, all children in America should be vaccinated," the Florida Republicans told reporters Tuesday. "Unless their immune (system is) suppressed, obviously, for medical exceptions, but I believe that all children, as is the law in most states in this country, before they can even attend school, have to be vaccinated for a certain panel."
Rubio also came out against those who say vaccines are connected to autism, saying,"There is absolutely no medical science or data what so ever that links those vaccinations to onset of autism or anything of that nature."
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal also released a statement, saying there is "a lot of fear mongering" over the issue.
"Personally, I would not send my kids to a school that did not require vaccinations. Vaccinations are important. I urge every parent to get them. Every one," Jindal said.

When will the government install Big Brother cams in our bathrooms to make sure we brush our teeth every morning and evening?
Which vaccinations? for what? why?
“Vaccinations” has been so generalized as to be meaningless.
who decides which vaccinations are required?
It is only a matter of time until some state has a Muslim on the board proposing to mandate female genital mutilation
Every little thing like this drives more parents to home school.
And I find it interesting that we have a flood of illegal alien children flood the country, with many conservatives strongly asserting that it is going to mean a significan increase in communicable diseases, and then a few months later we have the child vaccination debate.
The whole soap opera is getting tediously predictable.
There’s two more for the sane camp, now that Paul went off the rails with anti-vaxer talk.
The media made up debate.
I’m a bit torn on this.
First of all, vaccines work. They work well. Those claiming that their analysis shows increases of (pick your affliction) have been pretty well discredited.
Second, I do not feel that the government should be telling folks what to do. However, should someone choose to “opt out” of a vaccine, and their child contacts the disease, would not those providing medical treatment perhaps be compensated by the parents to a greater degree than those who chose the vaccination?
As for Ron Paul, sorry, but I think this guy is a bit to the left of the Bell curve...even though he somehow fooled folks into giving him a medical degree. Let us all remember that Dorkbama managed to get his law degree off of a Harvard cereal boxtop.
I like Jinda, but Louisana is one of twenty states allow philosophical exemptions (for school registration) for those who object to immunizations because of personal, moral or other beliefs.
Runt Paul/Christie Creame to run on the Libtardian ticket.
Paul is talking personal freedom, pure and simple. He, like I, puts a very high value on it. It’s sort of a “give me liberty or give me death” sort of thing. and I strongly believe this nails it:
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

So why is the MSM pushing this? Do they know something that hasn’t come out yet and they’re running cover? There’s a reason. There always is.

You are correct in that we should ABSOLUTELY be screening all immigrants (and stopping illegal ones).
We should also be vigilant in vaccinating those born here.
To distract from the source of the measles outbreak: illegal aliens
Good for them, and good for Ben Carson. Rand Paul is an idiot.
>>No, there continues to be reasonable doubt about the danger/efficacy of many vaccinations and delivery methods.
<<
There are none. Vaccine deniers are like 9/11 truthers, NOT like the AGW liars (see my sig as to why).

I saw nothing that this was the case — do you have a link?
