“Vaccinations” has been so generalized as to be meaningless.
who decides which vaccinations are required?
It is only a matter of time until some state has a Muslim on the board proposing to mandate female genital mutilation
Every little thing like this drives more parents to home school.
And I find it interesting that we have a flood of illegal alien children flood the country, with many conservatives strongly asserting that it is going to mean a significan increase in communicable diseases, and then a few months later we have the child vaccination debate.
The whole soap opera is getting tediously predictable.
There’s two more for the sane camp, now that Paul went off the rails with anti-vaxer talk.
The media made up debate.
I’m a bit torn on this.
First of all, vaccines work. They work well. Those claiming that their analysis shows increases of (pick your affliction) have been pretty well discredited.
Second, I do not feel that the government should be telling folks what to do. However, should someone choose to “opt out” of a vaccine, and their child contacts the disease, would not those providing medical treatment perhaps be compensated by the parents to a greater degree than those who chose the vaccination?
As for Ron Paul, sorry, but I think this guy is a bit to the left of the Bell curve...even though he somehow fooled folks into giving him a medical degree. Let us all remember that Dorkbama managed to get his law degree off of a Harvard cereal boxtop.
I like Jinda, but Louisana is one of twenty states allow philosophical exemptions (for school registration) for those who object to immunizations because of personal, moral or other beliefs.

You are correct in that we should ABSOLUTELY be screening all immigrants (and stopping illegal ones).
We should also be vigilant in vaccinating those born here.
