But NOT Mexico or Central America (where the vast majority of illegals are coming from). Vaccination rates across Mexico and Central America are as high (or higher) than they are here, and the measles are essentially non-existent there.

Yes, but while everyone is worried about the large number of immigrants from Mexico/C.A., there have been HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of 'immigrants' brought in from EUROPE, ASIA, THE PACIFIC, AND AFRICA.

Just the other day, it was revealed that our government is bringing in 75,000 Syrians. We have been taking in all kinds of 'refugees' with no criminal or medical background checks.

Two comments:

Both my sons were vaccinated but both caught measles when we lived in the Netherlands during the 70’s. The Dutch doctor who treated our kids said that vaccinations were not a guarantee against the disease. If you read the initial reporting of the outbreak at Disney, there were several vaccinated children who also got measles.

Here is an interesting website about the international cases of measles:

It just seems to me that this situation is being politicized in order to keep the Republicans on the defensive.
