Kim Jong-un executes army general over difference of opinion

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un executed an army general last month following a difference of opinion as part of his latest purge of senior government officials.
Gen. Pyon In Son, head of operations in the Korean People’s Army, was killed for disagreeing with the “Supreme Leader,” a South Korean official told reporters in Seoul Wednesday, but did not make clear what the two disagreed on, Bloomberg reported.

Kim Jong-un didn’t believe that the Grateful Dead’s last shows will be limited to the 3 over the 4th of July weekend at Soldier Field in Chicago and refrained from mailing in his decorated ticket request envelopes before the deadline in anticipation of the announcement of other, closer shows.
The general told him otherwise, his execution is merely Kim’s frustration at having to shell a few thousand for seats in the taper section via scalper.
