Preliminary Nielsen ratings show “NBC Nightly News” dropped -36% on Friday from last week’s Monday-Thursday average among A25-54 viewers. NBC’s competitors were down too, but not as much: ABC was down -16% while CBS was down -17% on Friday.

Brian Williams never finished college and does not have a degree in journalism.
But he rocketed to a top post in DC, and then NYC.
Somebody must have been pulling strings.
Plus he gets paid $10 million a year.
A smart TV exec would fire him for lying and give his job to some up and coming person for $2 million/year.
Save $ 8 million /year in the process and become a hero.
The operative word is “smart”.

Not just the left though is it who watches the crap. I know plenty of people who are just ignorant when it comes to politics and getting their factual news.
There are certain odd folks ... some of them even on this forum ... who will believe ANYTHING in Big Media, no matter how outlandish, provided only that it reinforces their existing prejudices.
On topics of which I have personal or professional expertise, I notice that Big Media routinely buggers up stories often beyond recognition.
I therefore assume that on topics of which I have no particular knowledge, Big Media is still buggered up beyond recognition.
Hillary dodging rounds, Williams saying his stories and lets not forget Geraldo is right up there cave story chasing Bin Laden or in Libya saying he was in a firefight.
The media lies and millions have still not figured that out yet. I have neighbors who I have a drink with at the weekend and the wife comes out with the LSM comments and I have to correct her every weekend, only for her to say I had ot heard about this why did they not mention this on the evening news.
He will be replaced with a girlie light on the loafers, girlie guy , probably another homosexual or a cross dressing freak.
I can believe that as most I know who watch the evening news now are much older and not have caught on to FOX or the LSM lies
In the watershed year of 1980 I think around 60 million people watched the three networks now look at it, less than half that number now.
The people who watch the network news are more likely than not to be in their middle sixties and up in age. They grew up with Walter Cronkite and are still blissfully ignorant as to the propaganda rot served by the networks.
Just look at all the Viagra and other drug commercials during the network news. My guess is most network news watchers also reside in nursing homes.
I hear you. That is the state of affairs in the U. S. right now.

A lot of those former viewers must have migrated to liberal cable channels and internet sites.

My mom is 85 and I have had to educate her on the MSM, now if she wants to watch news it is FOX only she really likes it!!!!! She used to be a DEM and is NOW a pubbie, she is from Mass. So I have made GREAT strides with her she screams at the TV every time a DEM starts talking, God bless her heart and soul!!!!!!
