Emmy Award-winning journalist Sharyl Attkisson, who covered the story of Hillary Clinton's lie about being shot at in Bosnia, says she can't understand how the former secretary of state weathered the scandal while NBC News anchor Brian Williams may not.
"To me, part of the irony is if Brian Williams isn't able to survive it — that we think it's important enough when somebody gives this kind of story that he would lose his career — yet we didn't care enough to have it matter that much with someone who became our secretary of state," Attkisson said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"[A person] we relied on for honest answers and truths in the aftermath of Benghazi and so on."

Next we need to see John Kerry come under the same fire for claiming he spent Christmas in Cambodia under Nixon and he threw away his medals.
Maybe Williams should run for a high political office, like Senator or President, and all would be forgiven. The left loves a good liar, especially one who knows how to lie for a leftist cause, like dead bodies floating around during Katrina. What the left doesn’t like is having one of their liars apologize for, or admit to lying. The left expects its liars to cover up, or make their way out of trouble by lying some more. Hillary knows how to play the game.

There are legal codes of ethics surrounding journalists and their choices that don't apply to everyday citizens It's the same with doctors, lawyers, pilots... etc - any profession that's regulated or licensed...
We're (private citizens) are under the ‘reasonable man’ areas - professionals are held to higher standards.
In Hillary's case there are NO (ZERO NADA ZIP) professional standards for the political class. Which might be part of the problem..
There are professional standards for journalists... there are NO professional standards for politicians.
How do the lies of Brian Williams stack up against the scientifically proven liar Bill Clinton?
New anchors are held to a higher standard i.e., report the facts without bias....Only Fox News does that consistently...H. Clinton is is the worst sort of political liar, nothing she says can be believed.
