If they enforced turn signals, 75% the people of the state of Arkansas would be in jail or paying fines.

Also - handy tip for those in my state: YOU USE THE SIGNAL BEFORE YOU TURN, NOT AS YOU TURN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree.

Repealing most laws would be a good idea.

My brother shoveled in winter and mowed in the summer, all through putting up flyers. He was one busy guy. Had a lot of money, too.

****Shovel snow, go to jail?****

There is another ordinance for my street:

If you don’t keep your sidewalk clear of snow/ice you can be fined.

Since I don’t own the sidewalk, I don’t understand why I should be responsible for keeping it clear. Plus I’m old and frail - so I would love to have teens doing the job. Probably cheaper than the fine.

This country is totally nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where did you see that they got a ticket?

I didn’t see that.

Gimme a break.

You know damn well that cops have wide lattitude in what laws they decide to enforce and when and where and who.

It’s why they let you skate by when you’re only doing 5 over. It’s why they don’t pull you over because your bike has been deliberately de-tuned to make a tremendous amount of noise they’d pull a car over for making.

Cops have discretion. They failed to use it.

Let me guess the Cops dumb-@$$ brother in law Vinnie owns a lawn service / snow plowing in the winter business... Love to see who these two officers are related too and if and how they benefit. Yes I am that cynical...

I see no cynicism in your statement.

That’s rotten and not only this, the community center gives people here the opportunity to shovel the driveways of the disabled and elderly. It’s a volunteer opportunity it sounds like.

You have it backwards. They are detuned by the factory. The end customer then tunes it to run right which usually means they will run louder.
