I try to point out the same thing, democrat voting Jews know how they vote, and why, they are voting for their politics, which are liberal.
well explained...
It’s hard to free fools from chains they revere.

The simpler answer is that they are largely Ashkenazi, ancestors from Eastern Europe, Ukraine, and Russia, who came to America to avoid persecution but took their socialist/Marxist viewpoints with them. Discrimination kept them out of the GOP-connected businesses of the early and mid 20th century, and out of the first wave of movement to the suburbs in the 1950s. Those who made Aliyah almost all became supporters of Labor and its successors, and those who didn’t became mostly Reform, Reconstructionist, or nothing in terms of religion.

“I’d like to buy a vowel, Pat...”
:)
This simplest answer is that they look at the party platforms and vote for the one that best represents their politics and goals for America.
I think that’s basically right. They applied the logic of opposing Czarist oppression to opposing capitalist oppression, even as they (we) were succeeding at that capitalist game in a country that was so fundamentally different from the places they had left behind in terms of opportunity and social mobility.
JINO. Jew in name only.
Why do Jews buy German cars?
I am reminded of the “journalist” who was recently interviewing a black Hollywood star. Both are extremist racists. Both are liberal. But I repeat myself.
The black accused challenged the journalist at one point about “being white” ...
The “journalist” - very clearly shocked at being accused that way, immediately replied, “but I am NOT white. I’m Jewish.”
Such a surprise to find you posting on this thread.
Excellent engineering?
Yep such a surprise to find freepers posting on political threads.
Lay off the stalking.
Every group tries to set its boundaries, has to at some level if it is to survive in any recognizable form . Jews have but sometimes with such bad results that they’ve acquired a general aversion to doing it. A few years ago an orthodox Jewish rabbi in NYC couldn’t take the secular leftist Jews anymore and blurted out that he didn’t consider them believing Jews anymore While many agreed with the substance of his statement, a bunch of other traditional rabbis asked him to retract, refrain from it, in the interest of avoiding too much argumentation in the fold. This reflects a longstanding teaching that the homeland was lost largely due to too much dissention or “needless hate” in Jerusalem of old. Great effort is made today to avoid the equivalent of excommunications even where there’s no shortage of cause or reason or justification for it But basically many Jewish people and rabbis dispair of the type of “Jews” that support obama. They just don’t want to go public about it, right or wrong. Much like in Cstholicism regarding Nancy pelosi type abortionists and the Notre Dame/ Georgetown type of largely-apostate or pagan colleges that still somehow cling to Catholic “identities” And much like how bible- believing Protestant Christians view today’s PCUSA or preachers who promote or condone “gay marriage”. This general kind of “internal apostasy” or “foxes in sheeps clothing” is a problem facing Catholic, protestant, and jewish believers alike. I do not have an answer, regrettably. Just try to keep the faith —
They are Liberals. QED
A big difference is that the Jewish vote always goes democrat, the Catholic vote almost always goes democrat, and the Protestant vote never goes democrat.
Thanks for the explanation, didn’t realize Jews were discriminated against by Republicans. I just often wondered why they voted Democrat when the KKK hated them and KKK was Democrats.
We tend in the US to forget that throughout most of the Euro-Russian world for the first half of the 20th century, the choice wasn’t between a (pardon the expression :> ) free republic and central control, but between Marxism and Fascism: you were either a Communist/Socialist or a Fascist/Nazi. If Hitler hadn’t become the Fuhrer, Thalmann would have brought Germany into the Stalinist camp. By the same token, Quisling became a pseudo-Nazi because he had learned to hate the effect of the Russian Revolution, but it didn’t seem to occur to him or anyone else—except Churchill, and maybe DeGaulle—that there was the American option, the option of Aristotle and Locke and Jefferson.
