When do we get liberated?

To be clear: No Marine handed a weapon to a Houthi, or had one taken from him. To be perfectly clear:
EVERY Marine had his weapon taken from him.

As a former Marine, this sickens me. I'm glad my WWII, Korea and Vietnam vet Marine Corps dad didn't see this.

The Marines will survive the destruction of their weapons in Yemen. They will survive the traitor in the White House, a president who hates and disrespects our armed services, who is a despicable protector of our enemies, and who is, as well, a lying coward who will certainly go down in ignominy in the annals of American history.
THE UNITED STATED MARINES BATTLE HYMN (read all stanzas)
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the Shores of Tripoli
We fight our country's battles
In the air, on land and sea
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean
We are proud to claim the title
Of United State Marine
Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun
We have fought in ev'ry clime and place
Where we could take a gun
In the snow of far-off Northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes
You will find us always on the job
The United States Marines
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve
In many a strife we fought for life
And never lost our nerve
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines

I am sure TSA wouldnt let them on the airplane with guns...I'm sure but why weren't they on military transport?
This president doesn't do anything the way I think it should be done. I agree with the poster that said, "Come in with our weapons, and leave with our weapons".

Somehow the opening scenes in THE DOGS OF WAR come to mind.
Commandeer the aircraft, “MAKE THIS THING FLY, NOW!”

The Embassy is considered US Territory, no?
Our Marines are forced to retreat, and surrender our turf on BO's Watch(!!). How we've fallen.....

EVERY Marine had his weapon taken from him.And "rendered inoperable". They could aim but not shoot.

They WERE NOT ON A COMMERCIAL FLIGHT, which gives the intended impression of flight attendants handing out pillows, preparing to serve drinks and children safely buckled into their seats. They were on a CONTRACTED plane, specifically for the Embassy evacuation. We can only hope that BEFORE the Marines weapons were destroyed and they were rendered defenseless, someone took the time to make sure the pilot wasn’t named MOHAMMED.
