Dear Lord—that was my first, gut reaction as well. My second, remembering Jefferson felt “Marines” needed to fight radical islam (Barbary Pirates) on the high seas, that THOSE young men are trained for “this” let’s hope their CiC, and the pathetic ROE have NOT disarmed or inadequately supplied them in any way.

My concern is not the Marines, but the failure to provide enough munitions. They would only be overrun if outnumbered, outgunned, and without full mags.

This is where Obama will fail, among others.
