Well, it’s out there now, and retraction will be buried, so therefore, it will be “true.”
They have issued a correction and the story has been edited.
MSM is so stupid these days
They make blogs look like Pulitzer candidates
How’s that college edumacation working out for you, Gail?
This is an example of why I always urge people to write letters to the editor whether they live in the reporting area or not.
That doesn’t matter to the New York Slimes. They know they can put this falsehood out there, then bury the retraction where most who believe it will never see it. It’s only a lie when someone calls them on it and it gets major exposure, like Brian Williams. They know this won’t be the case for this lie. So the lie becomes the reality for many, and only the few know the truth.
Been doing it for years.
NYT editors: “What is truth? Truth is subjective for the person telling it. Why tell the truth, when lies work better in accomplishing your agenda?” [That is the real Truth the NYT avoids telling.]
The reporter graduated from one of the top Journalism schools... which tells us a lot about the quality of ‘professionals’ they’re putting out.
I know why the MSM isn’t respected...
“Oh who cares- Gov Scott is a Republican after all so what’s the big deal?” Gail Collins NYT.
