Of course they are worried... because they are rational people. They operate under the reasonable assumption that others will do what they would do in the same situation. Since Islam is all about revenge killing, even for things as small as a perceived slight, even for offenses that are centuries old, they reasonably believe that everyone else is interested in the same thing. Thus, they think that everyone in the West wants to kill them, because they would certainly want to kill every Westerner if we did the same things that they do.

To this point, most "moderate Muslims" cannot fathom why we haven't started public decapitations yet. They think it is Allah staying our hand, and further proves the righteousness of their belief system. The longer we do nothing, the more they believe, and the more they support the killing. We do not win their hearts and minds in this instance, we actually LOSE their hearts and minds by responding so weakly. Their culture is not our culture. Liberals have screeched at us for decades that our cultural ignorance makes us constantly view other cultures as if they are like ours. Well, in this one way, Liberals have educated us properly. We cannot look at Muslims as if they will behave as we do... they cannot be "won over" through peaceful means, because it is not in their culture in any way, shape or form. So, let's get to business, and cater to their culture as the Left has taught us. Let us not use our peaceful methods, let us use their cultural norms.
