O’Reilly is a blow hard, whereas ‘Williams was a supposedly ‘respected news man.’

Corn and Schulman and what they say in the article versus O’Reilly and what O’Reilly may or may not have said or done in the past?

This could get interesting as the things go forward on this...

O’Reilly saying (not saying he will say this) that this is just a liberal outlet (and Mother Jones is definitely a liberal outlet) would just be using Ad Hominem.

Hmmm. Possibly a two-fer. Williams gone and now maybe O’Reilly.

I don’t see a downside here.

I wouldn’t miss him but if BOR goes, shouldn’t every single host at MSNBC and CNN go too?

I hope this isn’t true, not because I have any fondness for BOR, but because the crazies will use this as another opportunity to bash the right, even though BOR is not a conservative.

So, before we start feeling any Schadenfreude over this....

Besides being unwatchable, BOR has an Andrea Mackris / “falafel” problem that he swept under the rug with a big, undisclosed payoff.

I agree.
He’s the biggest bloviator around. He’s less informed on most topics than most of his guests, and it shows. But he just bloviates on.

I stopped watching Bill O after he back-stabbed the Swift Boat Vets. So thats been a while.

He’s a phony. His schtick is to be the sane middle ground between two straw men.

“even claiming he acted heroically in a war zone that he apparently never set foot in”

Yes but that was when he was in his alter ego status as Ted Baxter. :-)

O’Reilly never said he made it to the Falkland Islands.

He was supposedly in some dust up while in Argentina “During the Falklands”.

Cute, how MJ is creating a whole new scenario by implications and inuendo...

It would be wonderful if BOR fell and a real conservative could take over his spot.

This is how liberals always respond, well your guy did it too, Thing is the supposed credibility of a news anchorman is set at a much higher standard than a commentator.

BOR has gotten extremely belligerent and annoying lately.

Maybe he knows he’s being investigated for BW Syndrome.
