Thanks, but I don’t tweet and am very leery of twitter, facebook and the like.

I hear where Walmart is offering 9.25 per hour now. Maybe we can get them a job there!

First thing they need to do is send Obama to Walter Reed Hospital for Emergency Surgery to have this installed. Anyone that has a twit account feel free to share with Ethel at the State Dept .

The ‘war on terror’ is already being ‘led’ by twits, so this makes no difference.

I’m thinking “them”: guys down range that Kerry and his ilk expect to protect their silk-covered fannies when they—Liberty medal and Purple Heart recipients—stop by the old consulate for a cold drink.

But I have a bigger problem. I just used a laser bore site to ‘zero’ the ‘iron’ sights (actually a polymer Magpul rear sight) on my interesting new 5.56 “poodle shooter” at 25 yards.

After diddling the front sight with a very small Phillips screwdriver, while pushing the post ring clockwise with a plaque removal tool, I then turned the rear knob until the red dot was right on the top of the post.
I’m thinking aloud to anyone who has done this, with these extraordinary sights, this should get me on paper? And I’m thinking of adding an EO Tech halosight. Good? No?

So I’m wondering now, is the NSA reporting interweb questions like this one posed by law abiding but sporting citizens like myself to “them”: the State Dept., NASA and the Dept. Of Energy and making senior service federal poobahs lose sleep?

All I can say in this characteristically pointless post of mine is,
I certainly hope so.

Do not underestimate this strategy....The goal to silence critics of izlam.

This is a culmination of 10 year plan of action by the izlamists.

Entire strategy is cultural unwillingness to accept them for who they are.

Check out #31.

Thanks, Whenifhow.

To get a more accurate zero with your laser bore you need to pull the trigger and let the pin hit the back of the faux round. If you notice the dot is in a different spot before and after. Its not advisable to do this, but it is more accurate.

Not an EO Tech fan. The tech is out dated to me. Its bulky and heavy. I zero 3MOE reflex micro dots like the Vortex Razor or Burris Fast Fire III at 100 yards all day long. 1/10th the weight and 1/4th the cost. Over 100 yards, use a scope.

Good advice. Yeah, I’m trying to keep this a light M4, no keymod forestock and lots of accessories.
I’ve already got an AK pimped out with all that happy crappy.
And I’ve got a small scope that might work on the AR. Thanks!

The Vortex Razor is SWEET. I don’t have the scratch for another one at the moment, but as soon as I do, its done!

"...And I’m thinking of adding an EO Tech halosight. Good?..."

I bought one for my Beowulf about five years ago... And liked it so much, I bought six more, and have put them on platforms from run of the mill to rather unusual, and every one doubled my performance within the range of intention of their use.
