Shut it all down. Turn off the power in the offices and cut the networks!

Give Boehner some credit. He did initially take a stand. The real villain here is that POS turtle McConnell. I don't know what the Hell KY voters were thinking when they re-elected this cretin and that uber-amnesty supporter Hal Rogers.

For once, Boehner did grow some balls.

> “House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) “

This is the RINO that represents the General Dynamics facility in Corbin, KY that has the contract work order to manufacture the hologram work IDs for up to 34 million (yes 34 million) ‘New Americans’ and who claims that this card manufacturing cannot be defunded because it’s paid for by ‘fees’.

Hal Rogers, prime candidate for tar and feathers.

Maybe the 52 Conservative R’s who voted against, maybe they learned to lie to Boehner’s people the same way they were lied to during the CRomnibus.

To quote Martha Stewart, “That would be a good thing.”

The GOP has struck an historic blow for Liberty and the Rule of Law.....

Excuse my cynicism, but I don't think that's the case.
Maybe I'm wrong; but I just don't see the Republican party as interested in either Liberty or the Rule of Law.

What’s the use of having an opposition party that doesn’t oppose anyone but it’s own conservative members?

You answer your own question.

IN THE GRIM DARKNESS OF THE FAR FUTURE THERE IS ONLY GOVERNMENT.

The GOP needs some examples to use in lieu of their usual “Please don’t hit me, I’ll do ANYTHING you want”.

I got some — right here.
IOW — Start altering the government so that they cannot do business as usual. (I think the parts with penalties for government agents violating them would be excellent in restoring rule of law.)

Of ALL the articles I've read - dozens upon dozens - not one has even mentioned that the Senate had a DHS funding bill that the dems in the senate won't even vote on.

The house HAS passed a DHS funding bill. It died in the senate where Harry Reid is the Majority Leader.

C'mon McConnell - nuke it and pass it with 51. Why in the HELL do you not do that?

“Boehner grilled Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-Tenn.) on the floor about his vote.. DesJarlais did not change his mind.

Excellent!

I’m so glad he won his razor-thin reelection.

Congratulations, you have done your homework and your information is correct. Rogers is in fact most deserving of a new suit of tar and feathers.

“Rep. Steve Womack (R-Ark.), who voted for the three-week CR, said he had heard “rumblings” before the vote that there might be enough opposition to take the bill down. “

What a freaking disappointment he has turned out to be. I think he is boeners official a$$ wiper.
