Pope Francis has once again spoken out about the global economic climate, decrying an economic system that seems fatally destined to suffocate hope and increase risks and threats.
Speaking in Rome, the Pope condemned what he called a throwaway culture created by the powers that control the economic and financial policies of the globalized world.

Take two
Anybody have any theories how the communists got Pope Benedict to resign?
well, i was speaking interms of human history from the fall to the present. when Jesus comes, all human bets are off, of course. perhaps we are in agreement on that.
A flawed man elected by other flawed men.
...and I miss Pope Pius XII.
(The last pope before the modernist evils of Vatican II set in.)
Francis the talking mule.
Running dog for the communist dictators.
This Pope is a Progressive Communist disgrace masquerading as a Pope. Sorry Catholics. This is why people are angry at the Catholic Church.
Threats, they always threaten people.
there is no culture that is more Throw Away than collectivism, whether you call it communism, IslamoNazism, Nazism, Fascism, or HopeyChangey
collectivism basically throws away each and every individual person, for the sake of the collective. collectivism throws away his/her liberty, choices, opportunities, rewards, spirit....and sometimes collectivism literally throws away (murders) his/her life, too. As befits collectivism, collectivists often murder their people by whole collectives, that is: en masse. And when they don’t, they still smother peoples’ lives... make them far less ‘worth living’ and more LIKE they’ve been thrown away (like trash).
No, Your Holiness, collectivism is definitely not the right medicine to cure any (and there are some) limitations or problems we experience with our lives of liberty and freedom.
Come up with a better solution for our current shortcomings, like...perhaps....less collectivism? (Less Obama, Less Pelosi...you know here, right?, less regimentation, less arbitrary controls, less regulations, less restrictions, more liberty...more opportunity, more respect for the sanctity of the individual person....just like the Church teaches (free will, dignity of each human life, etc.)
Thank you for your cosideration, and I realize you may have just been misquoted (yet) again by our horrible mass media. We sure hope so.
President Reagan at his best.
The Pope wants to end EBT
cards?
Pius XII and Benedict XVI were the greatest Popes of the last 100 years
This damned collectivist Argentine Pope makes me want to convert from the Church to a Druid cult. I spit on him and his fellow travelers in our church.
Is he the first Marxist Pope or have there been others?
Just echoing that other Argentine “hero”, Che Guevara.
JP2 was the last Pope. This bozo is a commie.
The eternal conditions are sometimes colloquially called heaven. There’s a lot about heaven that people don’t think about, but on the other hand it’s not wholly necessary either because our contemporary attempts to grasp it must needs fail. I wonder how many people think we will literally all spend eternity with Christ in a humongous cube?
Is he the humanae vitae pope or the pelosi pope? These two cannot exist in the same heart.
I’d take him a whole lot more seriously if he threw Catholic
Church money to the crowd instead of blessings every Sunday at St. Peters...Maybe he could just sell off St Peter’s and give it away to the po po people....
Don’t see it happening...
So hesh the hell up.
the pope just took the other foot out of the commie closet!
