As my colleague streiff wrote a while ago, (alleged) Republican Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner just pushed through a “clean” bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security and funded Barack Obama’s plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegals. Boehner has once again flipped the bird to the conservative base and shown his cowardice in the face of the Democrat meanies who threaten to throw a fit about a shutdown.
John Boehner must go. He must be replaced as House Speaker. He does not represent the interests of the majority of Americans who voted for a Republican House of Representatives and Senate and whose clear message was “oppose Barack Obama”.
Boehner and his cowardly GOP compatriots (seen in non-italics here) must be booted from the House during the next election season. As far as I’m concerned, Boehner should be campaigned against in the next primary AND the next general election, should he survive the primary. In the interim, the 167-some GOP House members who do possess some semblance of courage should immediately begin the process of removing Bohener as speaker. It’s time for the GOP representatives to shake the fear of retribution from Boehner and his co-conspirators and fight back. Committee assignments are not worth the damage that House and Senate leadership are doing to the Republican party and to the country by continuing to tolerate Barack Obama’s patently unconstitutional behavior.
I encourage you to write or call your representatives and demand that they work to remove Boehner as Speaker. The cowardice of the GOP leadership must stop now.

I’m still waiting to hear from the Honorable Luke Messer to find out the results of his e-poll in this district on this issue, just before the first vote, and, if it directed him to oppose a “clean” bill, why he voted for it twice.
This (above) is the same sour flavor of bogus excuses I received when I asked him why no conservative challenged Boehner.
Then I found out here that the e-letter from Messer’s office (that I posted here) an apologetic for not replacing Boehner, was a form letter—provided to the critters by Boehner’s office!
I’ve had it with all this, “Golly, our hands are tied. We did all we could do.” etc. when in fact they are not tied and they did not do all they could do.
Or as Olive Oyl’s little Sweetpea put it, “Call it what you like. It’s spinach and I say to hell with it.”
I was just about to post about RINO Olson. Thanks for saving me the angst.
I plan to call EVERY single one of Olson’s offices, on a regular basis, to remind them what he’s done. I pray a conservative will run against him....maybe we can resurrect Tom Delay ;-)

Is there a procedure for removing a sitting Speaker? Not a Congressional scholar, but I’ve never heard of one.
Besides the guy has enough GOPe /RINOs who reelected him who are unlikely to vote to remove him, not to mention the dems will stick with “their friend”.
Sure looks like we are stuck with a wimpyass GOPe/nobama shitsandwich for nearly 2 more years. Obviously our punishment is not yet completed.

If Boehner were to do the right thing and step down as speaker, who could realistically expect to get the 200-plus Republican votes it would take to replace him?
The Dems pray daily and thank their god Satan that they have the good fortune to have McConnell and Boehner in charge of the Republicans in Congress.

Reid wrapped up McConnell even with one good eye, and Boehner caved a week after he declared that it was time for the Senate Dems to do their job.What happened today could not have happened without Pelosi whipping her folks to vote en masee for the “clean” bill.
Whether Bibi spoke or not is nothing in comparison to the damage that will be done between now and the end of the fiscal year by the funding of this illegal and unconstitutional executive action.

Negative. The “Republican” Party is completely and totally beyond any redemption at this stage of the game. The events in last year’s Mississippi Republican Primary Runoff were proof positive that the so-called GOP had completely sold out to the RAT Party by working with democRAT operatives to thwart the will of the people through voter fraud and ballot manipulation.

I have to be honest and admit that I did not vote for Olson in this past election. Skipped right past his name, because I see that even a RAT would be better than he is.
When you think about it, this should come as no surprise. After all, he was Chief of Staff for good old John “Wayne” McCornyn before he ran for the House seat that was occupied by that dolt, Nick Lampson.
Last week end Nancy pelosi stated she was promised a CLEAN dhs bill if she agreed to get her party to pass a week extension. Well after today it looks like she was correct.

Netanyahu’s speech today was a historic event. I give credit where it is due and you come back with a personal attack? Do you disagree?
He surrendered once again, on the only issue he reserved any leverage on at all. John’s failure as a meaningful or even intelligent speaker is compete. John has now officially given up everything for nothing!
