Regime to Justice Roberts: Catastrophe If You Rule Against Obamacare
Townhall.com ^ | March 4, 2015 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 03/04/2015 6:31:11 PM PST by Kaslin

RUSH: Here's how the Regime's doing it. The Regime and the Drive-Bys are trying to intimidate the court, trying to influence the court, trying to shape the court. Josh Earnest, press briefing at the White House today. A reporter said, "One of the justices this morning suggested the court could give states time to prepare for the impact if it decided to rule against the government in this case. I'm just wondering if you have any response to that, Josh. Would that be feasible? Just wait 'til next year for a decision like that to take effect?"

EARNEST: It's important for people to understand that there is no contingency plan that could be implemented that could prevent the catastrophic damage that would be done by essentially undermining the Affordable Care Act with an adversarial, uh, ruling on this. The truth is that there are no easy answers! There is no simple step, no obvious step that anybody can take that would prevent this catastrophic damage from taking place.

RUSH: Okay, and what that's supposed to here is Justice Kennedy and Justice Roberts are supposed to go home tonight and turn on the news, and they're supposed to see the White House press secretary say that if they rule against the administration, "It's gonna be a nationwide catastrophe! You don't want that on your shoulders, Judge, and you don't want that on your shoulders, Mr. Chief Justice. It's gonna be a catastrophe! We don't have any contingency plan. You're gonna be wiping people's health care out."

That's how it's to be reported, and it is not just Earnest doing it. This is happening throughout the Drive-By Media. The reason is, they think it worked on Roberts the first time. They are convinced that it worked on Roberts the first time. Note, by the way, it worked on Roberts, not Kennedy, the first time. Everybody thinks Kennedy is the swing vote that we need to be worried about, and I'm thinking you may need to change your focus on that, folks, just a little bit.

Listening to all of them talk about SCOTUS this afternoon. Didn’t hear one person talk about the fact that in all those videos of Gruber, he clearly stated that the law was written in a way that should force the States to set up exchanges. So, I would think if that were the case, then obamas argument goes up in smoke.

My mom was an office manager for a doctor for over 30yrs. She started long before HMOs, etc(which were more or less an invention of the Clinton, if I’m not mistaken). She said that when they took over health care, it all went to hell.

She told me back in the day, you paid as you went unless there was some type of emergency and it required some serious work or a visit to the ER/Hospital. I remember my doctor’s offices being in the garage of a split level house and their wives were their secretaries.

There’s a video on Youtube, Oklahoma Doctors vs Obamacare. These guys nail it on the head. Oh, to have some common sense solutions like what these guys do.

The media narrative is that it’s not the fault of the Democrats who wrote the bill- it’s ‘somebody else’s fault’.

The Democrats and Indies who crossed over last November did so because they KNOW it’s the RATS who dragged the Nation into this catastrophe.

Republicans - Ted Cruz, especially - will fix this without mandates if Please God Kennedy and Roberts will strike down this frankenstein law.

Like Plessey-Ferguson?

The fact is many people have dropped insurance do to the exorbitant costs or been forced into plans they can afford but, offer substandard coverage compared to their previous insurer...

So applying our Won to reality translator:

“Catastrophe” —> sophisticated decoding AlGoreRhythm plus miscellaneous jiggery-pokery = ..... “a wonderful gift to anyone who’s not a crony, a fascist, or a needle-nose busybody”.

I say let’s do it!

roberts sucks. If he got caught up in the revolution he would be mercilessly hung.

You're contradicting yourself. Hanging would be quite merciful for the circumstances.

If that happened, we’d have the best quality, lowest-priced medical system in the world within a single year.

But it would give you more control and take back a little of what they've stolen, so that can't be tolerated.

The Republicans have put forward a contingency plan. It just requires Obama to put his signature on a piece of GOP legislation.

It’s his refusal to do so that would trigger the catastrophe, in a self-fulfilling prophesy.

And he has a special friend who traveled with him soon after he made the first disastrous Obamacare decision. I always wondered if he were being blackmailed.

The only thing the justices should be considering is “is the Obamacare being enforced as it was written?” That’s it. Period. The Supremes are the judicial branch. They are not voting on the merits or the wisdom of the law. That has already been voted on...unfortunately. They simply deciding its legality in the way it is be enforced.

If the Supremes decide it is not being enforced correctly, it is their duty strike it down and it will then fall on congress and the President to fix it. That’s our system. Many laws have evolved and changed like this over the years. Theoretically, it would take only hours to fix it, perhaps a few months. In any case, its not the Supreme Courts concern.

The real problem in all of this is that Obamacrae is indeed being enforced illegally by Obama. He doesn’t give a crap about the law. If there is a Constitution and a God it will be struck down solely due to President Obama’s arrogance.

I wish I thought for one second Obama would take his oath seriously and work with the congress to get compromise funding mechanism in place....but....Obama created all this tension by not getting bipartisan health care reform in the first place. Sure, politically, he made it look like he was the reasonable one, but if the Supremes do what they are supposed to do, Obama will finally be exposed as the bad guy bc there is just no way he’s ever gonna work with the House and the Senate on anything.

Here is how it will play out. Obama will first demonize Next, he’ll demonize the House and the Senate for not fixing it exactly to his liking. Finally, if the polls don’t slide his way, Obama will probably have his peeps start rioting. At his core, Obama is a hater...a hater of America and a hater of our political system.

Obama knows no other way to fix anything other than the scenario I just laid out out.

What about blackmail:

The Roberts married in their early 40s and adopted two children within a few months of each other in 2000.

OK...add my name to the list when you answer why the adoption of two children would be grounds for blackmail.

between getting in debt for an operation or getting shot by government for opting out, I would rather take my chance with the private sector. but the government wants us to get shot, I fear, because the government wants to take zero risks.
