Second Grader Buckles Under Pressure From White House
http://freebeacon.com/ ^ | March 6, 2015 | Elizabeth Harrington

After a second grader complained to First Lady Michelle Obama that she “ruined” Taco Tuesday with her healthy lunch rules, Trip Klibert has accepted the White House’s consolation: Bo and Sunny trading cards and a note from Mrs. Obama that said you’ll get used to it.

Mrs. Kilbert sounds like a useful idiot.

Poor Trip.

“”My daughter has to meet with her kindergarten son’s teacher tonight and is quite concerned, as he came home upset after apparently not providing the expected praise to Zero - said they were talking about the President and he said he told someone “Obama can’t be the president - he’s a bad man””

THAT is scary! Be sure to get back to us with the result of the meeting with the teacher. I wouldn’t be surprised if our grandson, also a kindergartner pulled something like that as he soaks up everything he hears even when you think he hasn’t been listening and otherwise occupied. We can no longer count on this being the same country we grew up in but can do all in our power to make sure it gets no worse for our kids/grandkids.

No lovers of obozo in his house or in ours. Good lesson here for grownups.

We tore the cover off and lined the can with it....and skipped the article she was in.

I also wrote to them that I was deeply offended by their cover, wanting to enjoy recipes and not be harangued by a food fascist.

“”“In Obama’s letter, she explained that new child nutrition regulations were implemented as part of her “Let’s Move!” initiative started in 2010 to reduce childhood obesity,” the Times-Picayune reported. “The new regulations took effect in 2012 with the goal of including more whole grains, vegetables and fruits in school meals while reducing fat and sodium.”””

I would have been tempted to return the letter to the WH with a note saying, “Ask me if I care why you started it.”

Why on earth hasn’t any news agency or newspaper shown the actual pictures of what the school lunches are like today? Good grief! Not everyone has the internet - at least not yet but we’re working on that old freebie to go along with your other “stuff” - so the country can see how despicable these meals are?

Michelle should be invited to eat those meals at some public school in front of cameras!!! Let’s see her lick her chops over them then. Better yet, bring along your daughters too, Michelle. They really do need to learn how the rest of the kids in the country fare!!!

Can’t they at least TRY to get the word out so others could actually see that they are REALLY, REALLY BAD and it’s not just people bitchin’ to be bitchin’?

Ketchup + Hot Water = Soup ,LOL I saw it in the movies.

During the Great Depression my Father, his two brothers, and his sister went weeks eating Ketchup sandwiches. That is all they had and could afford. His father, my grandfather, died in a car wreck so the three boys tried to work the hard scrabble farm and did the best they could to help their mother keep them from starving.

“”Bread, mustard and a sprinkle of sugar,,,it was not that bad!””

I remember bread with butter and sugar. That was always homemade bread after school - on Mondays. That’s until we had to stop when WWII came along and sugar was rationed. Wouldn’t think of trying it today - UGH!

So depressing. I saw a headline at another site that quoted him as saying “You’ve ruined Taco Tuesday for me!” and chuckled at the innocent honesty.

Now, thanks to a feckless mom he walks back the truth with phony platitudes in its place.

Do you know if the Teacher owns a Horse?
