State Dept. changes story on Clinton emails
Politico ^ | 06 March 2015 | Josh Gerstein

In a reversal, the State Department acknowledged Friday that a Congressional investigation into the attack on U.S. facilities in Benghazi played a role in the agency’s decision to ask Hillary Clinton and three other secretaries of state to turn over copies of all work-related emails they sent or received on private accounts during their tenure.

State spokeswoman Marie Harf told reporters that a special House committee’s ongoing probe into the Benghazi incident was one of many factors that led the department to send a request last October that resulted in Clinton sending her former agency 55,000 pages of emails she exchanged on an unofficial account.

Story Continued Below

.

. “Certainly, that’s a factor, but ….as we’ve said now a few times, it was not any one thing that prompted this,” Harf said at a daily briefing dominated by questions about the email issue dogging Clinton as she prepares to launch a presidential bid. “It would be grossly simplistic to say that any one thing prompted us to send this letter.”

Don't go hatin' on "State Department Barbie". She can't help that she's a blonde...

State Department Barbie is one thing, Soulless Traitor Lying Barbie is another.

Don't be fooled - that little "Barbie" would run a concentration camp for conservatives just to pad her résumé.

You just are too simplistic to see the nuances of the situation....

Sigh. Story of my life, lemme tellya...

The light in “State Department Barbie”. eyes is the sun, shining thru the back of her head...

That's a scary thought. Of course, we're able to have thoughts, unlike young Miss Harf...

So—Were they lying then, or are they lying now?

....and Scrivener, have the Sargent at Arms prepare suitable accommodation for Hillary and Barry in the Tower.

Doublethink

Doublethink is the act of ordinary people simultaneously accepting two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct, often in distinct social contexts. Doublethink is related to, but differs from, hypocrisy and neutrality. Somewhat related but almost the opposite is cognitive dissonance, where contradictory beliefs cause conflict in one's mind. Doublethink is notable due to a lack of cognitive dissonance — thus the person is completely unaware of any conflict or contradiction.

George Orwell created the word doublethink in his dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949); doublethink is part of newspeak. In the novel, its origin within the typical citizen is unclear; while it could be partly a product of Big Brother's formal brainwashing programmes, the novel explicitly shows people learning Doublethink and newspeak due to peer pressure and a desire to "fit in", or gain status within the Party — to be seen as a loyal Party Member. In the novel, for someone to even recognize–let alone mention–any contradiction within the context of the Party line was akin to blasphemy, and could subject that someone to possible disciplinary action and to the instant social disapproval of fellow Party Members.

THE HIILLAR WORM SQUIRMS--Hillary's flopola book "Hard Choices" has a sort-of "explanation" about Benghazi---but it is her political Catch 22 as she defends the Bergdahl swap ON TOP OF her Benghazi fairy tales. She's forced to express diametrically opposing views---approving the Bergdahl swap b/c of her "concerns" about Bergdahl's well-being......at the same time she's forced to answer why she abandoned four Americans to their savage fate in Benghazi.

=============================================================

BACKSTORY---News hound Bob Woodward Definitely Doesn’t Buy Hillary’s Benghazi Denial. Woodward doesn’t believe Hillary's whine that "it's all about politics." The reporter known for making news claims there are still “serious, unanswered questions about this.”

Hillary's book, Hard Choices, stoutly declares that everything there is to know about Benghazi has already been revealed....she is hoping to silence Republicans by charging politics is behind the continuing probe.

Bob Woodward will not be dissuaded. ".....one of the questions I have -- did she keep a diary? Obama confirmed to Woodward that he keeps a diary. Woodward noted. “Ronald Reagan kept a very detailed diary of Iran Contra, and he finally turned it over.”

The veteran Post reporter also knocked Clinton and Obama....... noting Benghazi is not about partisan politics, as they stoutly aver.

“There are facts,” Woodward asserted on Fox News. “There is neutral inquiry. And there is a way to look at this and get that information and see if there is new information.”

==================================

Hillary's "Benghazi cover story" was leaking like a sieve----to cover-up her incompetence. We later discovered the U.S. military was fully capable of responding to the Benghazi Consulate attacks within 3 – 4 hours.

Admiral Lyons – who commanded the Pacific Fleet and has extensive professional, direct knowledge of U.S. military capabilities – explains in detail what capabilities we had in the region and why F-16’s from Italy could have been buzzing the compound and strafing the attackers with machine gun fire within 4 hours or less....... the U.S. military could probably have saved the last two Americans to die in the attacks.....

Even more problematic for the opportunistic Clintons is that Boobamba's serial incompetence is imperiling Hillary's 2016 ambitions. Running in the toxic fallout of a two-term blundering black president is a Sisyphian challenge.

For sure CBS will allot ample airtime so that Hillary emerges pure and virginal for 2016. CBS will suckup and give her 2-3 segments to explain away foreign policy flops....and Benghazi.

The words "Blame Republicans" are already forming on Hilly's virginal lips.

=====================================

Who can forget Obama and Hillary's love fest on CBS' 60 Minutes?

Obomba hustled Hillary on 60 Minutes to gaze in adoration,
after Hill's arrogant dismissal of the Benghazi massacre before
Congress. I thought sure Obama was gonna give 'er a B/J on
broadcast tv....he was THAT grateful.
