Me too! Time to gang up on the commies in DCNY and slap them down!

Glen Beck? What is he crying about now? Has he decided if he is Ghandi or the Messiah yet? What about his miracle cure?

It may well work if you can get the right players to sign up.

But a lot of the potential ones may feel it’s far too early to sign on with one candidate. I suspect that’s why it doesn’t happen

Ted Cruz is the only potential Republican candidate who truly believes that the government needs to get out of our business.

If you listen closely to them all you will hear descriptions of what government needs to do for the people, except for Ted Cruz.

We do not need anyone micro-managing our lives.

That makes Ted Cruz the only one who could honestly fill Ronald Reagan's shoes.

Personally, I won’t even vote for Cruz as long as there’s an R next to his name. Don’t bother with the boring old “you should vote for Hillary” BS. Save it for someone who has a deuce left to give. If you’re still voting GOP, you’re part of the problem.

So the Dems pick the weakest one and take him (or her) down.

And every day up until the election, they'll have somebody to attack even if Cruz survives what they throw at him.

Plus, some of the people in Cruz's cabinet will be politicians he defeated to get the nomination, and Cruz will be on record having said some not so nice things about them, and the media will make him answer for that every day.

I’ve had that idea for years...do a little ‘cabinet name-dropping’ during the presidential campaign...who would you like to see in a Cruz cabinet?

How about a Cruz-Walker ticket? Or Walker-Cruz?

Ted Cruz would be a GREAT president, but I have no doubts Scott Walker will get the nomination.

Interesting idea...there are some serious drawbacks though...

You people do understand the the GOPe...will never allow Cruz to win the nomination...

He scares them spit less ...

It makes it look like Ted Cruz can’t get the nomination on his own. Cruz doesn’t need gimmicks. He doesn’t need a backup band. He is more than capable of winning the nomination all on his own, but he needs to get serious and start running now. He has a message. He has a vision. He is more than capable of clearly stating that vision. He can out-campaign, out-debate, out-message any other candidate out there. He needs to start doing it.

I like Ted Cruz, but senators are very bad choices for the office of president.

I don’t know. As hard it is to make some people happy with just one candidate I can see people staying home just because they don’t like what one cabinet member said or did.

Seems like just an adaptation from parliamentary systems.

One or a series of primaries with the top vote-getters meeting formally and agreeing among themselves who gets Pres, VP, Cabinet and other positions. A little bit similar to when convention backrooms decided candidates.

I might support such a method.
