The Logan Act takes precedence over the Constitution?

Maybe a fascistic over-reach to prosecute senators will wake up the GOP leadership from their coma! It’s time that these people stand up to tyranny.

These creepy Obamatons remind me of the Oregon political/religious cult.

The cockeyed cultists worshipped a kook named “Bhagwan Rajneesh”-—some kind of Islamic sect leader-—who drove around in a militarized Rolls Royce.

So obsessed w/ power that the cultists engaged in germ warfare to keep residents from voting so that they could control the legislative body.

The actually sprayed salmonella all over town-—and contaminated food in local restaurants to keep the vote down.

“Bhagwan Obama” musta read the tale to his followers.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution

[The President] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur...

= = =

There’s that darn Constitution thingy.
The 47 senators are part of that 2/3 of the Senators.

They are authorized and are not negotiating. They simply reminded Iran that Obama does not have complete authority in this matter.

How about charging the “one” with gun running, violation of federal immigration laws, treason, allowing an ambassador to get whacked...(the list is endless)...

Get off your butts, GOP.

Does that also include San Fran Nan’s visit to Saudi Arabia?

This would probably be the only thing that would ever move Congress to impeach the POSOTUS.

Perhaps that is what he is aiming for. Get that race war going once and for all.

Nobody in any branch of government believes the Logan Act applies to legislators. Truth is, the Logan Act has never been applied to private citizens either. It’s just a taunt by people who disagree.

If somebody got serious about it, I suspect there is more cause to file treason charges against Obama & some in his administration than there is to file against Senators just reminding the Mullahs (& King Obama) of THEIR Constitutional duties and powers.

hmmmm....I read that clause and wonder what they did wrong, by any stretch of the imagination. Those 47 Senators were informing both the administration and Iran that they were practicing their Constitutional obligation to provide Advice and Consent to the President in any treaty negotiations.

The question is why 53 US Senators are willing to give up that Constitutional obligation.

Am I misreading this?

Nothing will wake up the scumbags at the head of the republican party. They are the bought and paid for stooges of the enemy. They belong in prison right beside the other traitors.

I suspect that a strawman is being established.

It’s a little bizarre, but given the timing and bizarre nature of recent events, the following is possible:

It is likely that Hillary Clinton’s sever was hacked, or she transferred sensitive information through personal emails.

Thus, if we claim that her purposeful use of personal emails was an act of treason, then the left can trot out this example, and the MSM now has its equivalency angle to make Hillary’s problems go away. Some of the sheeple buy this kind of reasoning (everybody does it)
