MSNBC’s “Hardball” host Chris Matthews said that “I don’t know whether criminals actually buy guns at the store” and that murders are committed “oftentimes without any use of a gun” on Thursday.

It’s pretty simple Chrissy. You got a record, you come up no on NICS check. You won’t get a gun in a gun store without one (except in the case of a CCW in GA, but you still have to pass a NICS check to get it).

What? I was going to comment that he seems to finally be getting a clue.
Okay, the “I don’t know...” remark was a bit oblique, but it shows a glimmer of understanding that regulating the legal trade in firearms doesn’t do much of anything to keep them out of the hands of criminals, and as for the remark about murders committed without guns, it’s the core of the point I have often made in posts here and in other forums that the category of “gun violence” is morally specious.
Hissie Chrissie is right. Criminals don’t submit themselves to NICS checks, and they don’t buy them off of Gunbroker.
The prices at some stores are “criminal.” So, ya know....
He was actually making a comment that more gun control laws would not help stop criminals.

Yeah, Chris, criminals go to their local gun store and buy a weapon to kill and rob people and give their name, address, social security number, driver’s license number and picture to them so they can send them to the sheriff’s office and the FBI, ATF, DHS and CIA to check them out.............

This is a little window into a socialist’s mind. For decades, CM has been anti-gun because his herd is anti-gun—it is part of his herd’s political goals. Then, one day, he pauses and ponders whether it is a rational goal and whether it is consistent with reality. But, he quickly moves on and doesn’t get beyond very briefly pondering the issue’s rationality. He never actually explores or logically thinks through the question because there is no purpose to doing so and the implications of the answer quickly make him uncomfortable. It would also be wasted effort to consider the question further because CM is not going to go against his herd. The mere act of asking the question is stressful and so he quickly goes back to blindly following his herd’s agenda. That is how a socialist thinks.
I think the two most common sources of criminal guns are (1) stolen in burglary, and (2) purchased by girlfriends with clean records (or illegal alien using fake ID).

From my point of view this is nearly perfect...
The Mainstream Media is truly in a perfect little box. They talk to themselves, they listen to themselves and they DO NOT socially interact with the so-called common citizen. If they do any interactions it appears to be only with the criminal class and that it appears includes the politicians.
Is it any wonder that they have a skewed value system and don’t understand the majority of the citizens of the United States.
