CONCORD, N.H. Gov. Scott Walker introduced himself to New Hampshire Republicans here Saturday, outlining a three-pronged potential presidential theme focused on growth, reform and safety and later called suggestions that hes aggressively shifted policy positions in recent months ridiculous.
Walker talked about cutting federal income tax rates to spur economic growth, returning control of education and transportation spending to the states and framing the threat posed by radical Islamic terrorism not as one of national security, but of the closer-to-home domestic theme of safety.

1. Tough on immigration, or not.
2. Reasonable people can disagree on abortion, but Im really pro-life.
3. At least he can remember the third one.
I see you are a useful idiot also.
Let's look at his own words.

So yeah. There's "doubt".
Well, good morning to you too.
Walker is a decent candidate if you like illegal immigration and squishy on abortion.
We can do better.
But he is probably the best candidate out there right now.
We will need to unite to stop the conservative splitting up the vote and the Dem activists working with the K street DC insiders ramming thru Traitor Jeb .The Open Primaries in Iowa NH and South Carolina let the Dems crown a Dem lite before the closed Primary states vote.
Its Been a Scam for years.
Why Are the Dems in Iowa and NH picking out candidate !
Yeah one campaign ad is much more important than ..Wisconsin Abortions Drop 16% After Pro-Life Law Allowing Women to See Ultrasound of Baby.
Those are real lives saved. Apparently you do not truly care about pro-life issued but are using it as a wedge.
Cruz won’t make it all the way. He’s critical to a GOP POTUS, particularly if he’s a GOPe President. Walker would be the perfect President for a Cruz. The Senate would be a conservative populists playground. The Dems would suicide.
I care about all life. What I don’t like is people who twist their own words and positions for the purpose of getting elected. That might be all right with you, though, so if it is, fair play.
But he is probably the best candidate out there right now.
With respect, a better candidate didn't.
If holding an executive office is the biggest qualification a person needs then 8 years in the White House ought to be the entire criteria.
That ad was subtle to deflect specific War on Women attacks but still stood for the principle of life. The ‘decision’ part does reflect current law.
His own words
I believe government has no higher purpose than protecting its citizens, particularly those that cannot fight for themselves like the unborn and elderly.
I am 100% pro-life and believe in protecting life from conception to natural death. As governor, I will protect the sanctity of all human life.
I am proud to be endorsed by Wisconsin Right to Life, which noted that my election “would greatly contribute to building a culture of life.

I’m not on Walker’s enemies list, I’m on his donors list.
Walker did the right thing to cut the unions down to size in Wisconsin. I sent him money to fight the recall.....
But as I see it, the important national issues are Obamacare, Amnesty and Common Core.
Cruz just happens to be out front on those issues, for example.
Another big issue is our out of control spending and national debt.
No one in this country has had the courage to say BALANCE THE BUDGET NOW. Paul Ryan says ten years, Rand Paul has a five year plan. JOE STALIN HAD A FIVE YEAR PLAN AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT THAT MEANT.
The politicians want to maintain the welfare state and not TAKE EMERGENCY ACTION by dismantling government and immediately putting our budget into balance.....IT JUST SEEMS LIKE PEOPLE IN POWER WANT TO MAINTAIN A DEBT AND PAYMENTS ON THAT DEBT. THIS COUNTRY IS BEING RUN LIKE A CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND IT HAS TO STOP.......
His plan for balancing our national budget and reducing the national debt is something I look forward to hearing about.....See my post 72 for more on that issue.
Yep, it will be interesting to see if he can follow his model .
After Walker’s first budget, instead of facing a massive deficit heading into the next one as in previous years, the state had a $760 million surplus. So, he cut income taxes by $650 million. A few months later, Wisconsin found itself again with another surplus. So, he cut property taxes by $100 million. And as we start 2014, with the state projecting a $1 billion surplus, Walker plans to cut taxes again.

Talk is pretty cheap in politics and all I hear is talk that ducks the big, tough issues.
Obamacare should be repealed 100 percent especially the individual mandate to force people to buy higher priced private health insurance. Obamacare and Romneycare before it were bailouts for the private health insurance industry and big hospital groups using government regulation.
Amnesty must not happen the Obama way or the Republican way. Republican politician talk about border security is code for a scheme to eventually allow illegal immigrants to become legal in this country.
Common Core must be 100 percent repealed and not replaced with some new scheme.
Ted Cruz is out front on these issues.
Nigel Farage of the United Kingdom Independence Party spoke at CPAC last month describing the UK political system in terms that could be applied here.
He spoke of a Corporatist system where Big Business, Big Banks and Big Government join forces to benefit their own interests at the expense of individuals and small business.
Farage also offered a bit of advice to the GOP saying they should not ignore the “Reagan Democrats”.
Working class people know unions are corrupt and sometimes get out of line demanding the impossible. Enough thought that way to help Margaret Thatcher win some elections in the 1980’s in the UK and Scott Walker to win a couple in Wisconsin in recent years (I supported Walker financially).
But there’s more to the picture than that in the UK today and the US today. Corporate elites shove Amnesty, Obamacare and Common Core down our throats. Our continuing debt ceiling increases are something out of a business plan for a credit card company.
The business elite also pressure us on social issues like Gay Marriage. Governor Bentley was afraid people in Alabama wouldn’t have jobs if he resisted a Gay Marriage ruling from a federal judge recently.
If Walker were to talk like Farage and talk the message I presented above, I would be excited about him.
I am not.
Cruz comes must closer to my ideal than Walker is at this point.
Christie compromised while Walker won. The legislature mattered in both cases. Walker won as Milwaukee county executive, but the ‘legislature’ was Democrat. That takes some political skill.
Part of capturing Reagan Democrats is delivering government services they want effectively and efficiently. That’s not easy.
Don’t forget SCOTUS. The next President will get the chance to appoint at least 1 SCJ and as many as 4.
That tells a lot about his leadership skills, no? Mike Lee is also in the GOP minority, but he's moving his agenda forward.
Reagan bounced around, too. You have to play the game to win. Walker isn’t a Romney and he doesn’t have a history of governing Left.
And donate. If every FReeper donated $100 our candidate would start with $30,000,000. That’s a winning starting war chest on par with what Jeb Bush is looking to raise right now.
Bush will work to buy his way in. He needs to lose and lose and lose. We need to coalesce around a proven winner and win, win, win. That will take money, but also concentrated ground work by committed conservatives. They can be beat.
