Russia has gone on the offensive in the Baltic, warning Denmark that if it joins Nato’s missile defence shield, its navy will be a legitimate target for a Russian nuclear attack.
“I don’t think that Danes fully understand the consequence if Denmark joins the American-led missile defence shield. If they do, then Danish warships will be targets for Russian nuclear missiles,” said Mikhail Vanin, the Russian ambassador to Denmark, to the Jyllands-Posten newspaper.

We aren’t on the verge of anything.
It looks like it is time to show Putin the facts of life by reminding him that he is almost powerless, except in the suicidal sense of ending Russia in a nuclear fire.
It’s a problem for the Dutch to work through. If Russia is going to blackmail them one way or another, the Netherlands might as well assume the risk that comes with “all for one and one for all.”
Putin could have shown NATO unnecessary. He muffed that chance.

The Danes are part of NATO, we fight with them, and Russia is no match for us, or us as part of NATO, and they know it. The media needs to start mocking this Russian nonsense.

Here is some trivia, the Danish LRRPs of 1985 were about 20% Olympian qualified athletes.
Its a choice the Danes must face—Europeans can’t even fight the Islamic people they let move in and go on welfare—how could they fight Russia? With Obama in Office—The USA would not defend Europe if T-90s were rolling down the streets of Berlin, Paris, London or Copenhagen.
Russian state-owned media is scouring Denmark for news of Nazis as we speak.
The whole world hopes that the Obama nightmare will not be forever. And maybe America will remember enough about what it had been to not settle for food stamp bread and circuses.

The Russian statement is a grave breach of the international peace by threatening a nuclear attack to intimidate a non-nuclear state.
Denmark itself may be small and unimportant, but they also own Greenland, which is big and very (strategically) important.
I understand your point, but it is unlikely that Denmark will launch an attack (or support one) on Russia from Greenland.
Greenland will also be green again if there IS a new global warming.
