Agree. All my friends growing up had normal parents. I only met one girl in 1964 who had only a mother. Her mother was out to screw all the high school seniors she brought home. It was sad.

That is why the Bible has many references for being merciful to the “fatherless children.” It’s a human need to have a father and mother.
