Not that I would want Americans there, but I think it is significant that we didn’t seem to be invited or consulted.

Surviving Mideast leaders have stuck a fork in the US and pronounced it "Done." Obama has achieved yet another of his goals: to make the US powerless as an international force.

Israel was not a nation from 70 AD until May 14, 1948. I don’t know where you think that Israel was a nation in the land in those dates because they were not. They were out of the land until 1948. They were scattered in 70 AD. There was another rebellion in 135 AD that was the final demolishing of the Jews by the Romans. They WERE NOT a nation again until 1948. Where do you get this stuff?
There were Jewish and Samaritan rebellions up through 613 during the last Byazantine Persian war. http://en.wikipedia.org

That's pretty hugh for relatively small country. Much bigger than I expected.

Seems they have given up on the Obama/Jarett axis and have decided to do it themselves

Agreed — SA first and then Israel. I suspect that the Saudis have procured their own bomb from Pakistan and may get help from Israel.

Does getting off their camel buttz include the recent bombing run in Libya after the group of Egyptian Christians were publically executed in Libya by ISIL supporters? Actually, I was surprised that they took any action for Christians.

That was the Egyptians who retaliated in Libya for the murder of Egyptian Christians.

Al Sisi of Egypt has broken new ground for an Egyptian President, for relations with their Coptic Christian community. He was the first ever to go to a Christian Church on Christmas, to offer good wishes.

The Saudis don’t allow Christian churches to even exist in their country.

Glad to hear Al Sisi is improving relations with Christians. I can’t wait to see if Saudi Arabia ever slaps down their Wahabbi clerics and pernicious funding of Madrassas world wide.

The UAE at least made air strikes against Libya jihadist targets, and those attacks weren’t run by the Soetero regime in advance, taking him and his fellow criminals by surprise. That’ll teach him to leave his wide-open Blackberry in the car in the golf course parking lot.

A few little revolts by a few left here and there DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A NATION BEING THERE!! Get real. Israel as a nation was totally done by 135 AD, completely!!! They did not reform until 1948. They were not a nation. Get into real history books. The one called the Bible should help you a bit.

They were in exile from 135 AD, not 600 AD. Rome crush Israel in the final revolt of 135 AD. THAT is when the Romans stuck the name that we are stuck with today hearing, PALESTINE!!! on the country there. They also stuck another name on Jerusalem, but that did not stick like Palestine did. 135 AD. Just keep repeating that date. THAT is when Israel was destroyed final. Not 600 AD. A few revolts by a very very few little groups of zealots does not constitute a nation at war.

I say we just sit back and let the Arabs fight it out amongst themselves. If one side or the other gets too big we keep a close eye on them. We should also let Israel know that we will not criticize them for doing whatever they need to defend themselves up to and including using nuclear weapons against Iran.

Hopefully if Iran has/gets nukes they will attempt to launch from Mecca and Israel will make Mecca disappear.
