Investor’s Business Daily has put together facts to demonstrate that the release of Bowe Bergdahl from Taliban captivity was just a ruse to provide cover for President Obama to release the Taliban commanders, a goal he had long pursued.
Here is the timeline they provide:
January 2009: Obama signs executive order calling for Gitmo to be shuttered within a year, while his national security team considers if five Taliban leaders are safe for release.
2011: White House and State Department officials open secret talks with the Taliban in Germany and the Persian Gulf to discuss their release from Gitmo as part of "peace talks."
Jan. 3, 2012: The Taliban announce they are prepared to open a political office in Qatar to conduct peace negotiations in exchange for the release of the Taliban commanders. ("The releases would be to reciprocate for Tuesday's announcement," according to "The Guardian.")
April 2012: Working with the White House, Karzai sends delegation of Afghan government officials to Gitmo to interview the Taliban prisoners and secure their oath to cut ties with al-Qaida.
("On the issue of the release of the Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo, we are fully in support of that," Karzai says during a July 9, 2012, visit to Japan. "If they wish to go to Qatar, we want them rejoined with their families.")
Those oaths are worthless, of course, and all this took place before Bergdahl was on the agenda. As IBD writes, Obama faced resistance to his plan:
The original Taliban Five deal fell apart as Obama met stiff resistance from the U.S. intelligence community. And it proved too politically radioactive to sell to Congress. It was only after U.S. intelligence shot down his amnesty plan as too risky that Obama conjured up the Bergdahl swap.

So as time goes on he suffers an exponentially consuming gigantic list of unfinished or incomplete disasters. His love of deception over candid honesty becomes way too hard to juggle. His methods work on one issue at a time with no distractions or outside introduced variables and could take five years to completion. His main example being elections. That is all he can do.
I never heard about Stevens for the blind sheikh. Where is that info from?
Hmmmm ..?? I have an idea .. How about the money that it took to buy the house in Hawaii. Where did that come from? Supposedly, it was a “friend” of Obama’s who bought the house; but did he buy it for Obama ..?? And if he did, has anybody investigated if that person was flush with the money to buy it - and was that unusual for him ..??

I think these Democrats are slicker than this.
I think Hillary and Obama were stealing Qadaffi’s fortune in Libya. That is why Hillary needed an off-the-record intelligence operation. She needed to find Qadaffi’s fortune.
The Libyans figured it out and hit us at Benghazi for hostages to trade for Qadaffi’s fortune. They got an Ambassador and 40 CIA employees.
So, how do Hillary and Obama pay off billions in blackmail? They won’t use their money. Soros won’t pay. They have to find sneaky ways to pay the blackmail.
This is why six billion dollars are missing from the State Department.
They are smart enough to know that if they get caught paying blackmail for their thievery, they’ll go to jail. So they have to have a cover story.

It was based on the coincidence of Morsi coming to power in Egypt and demanding the release of the Blind Sheik at the same time there were rumors of weapons transfers through Libya to Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood. Hillary’s first claim about a video and her apology went to Egypt first, IIRC.
It’s very plausible but without evidence.
