Unpossible. Re: SafeAct. The real problem is the heavily tinted assault windows obviously. Need more stringent laws against "excessively" tinted windows.

Looks like a semi-auto pistol converted to look “menacing”... I don’t consider anything 9mm to be “high powered”.

“high-powered”
uh, 9mm ...

odd that the article has in lieu of any photos of the perp.......three photos of the officers involved in the bust?
now thats journalism

It sounds reasonable enough, if not a little under powered, for a drive in Brooklyn. The cops shouldn’t arrest the guy for being insufficiently prepared. After all, had he gotten into a shootout with thugs, the cops would show up to do their share of the shooting.

PPS-43, originally chambered in 7.62x25, after the war several Warsaw Pact countries produced them as well. I believe there was a Polish version in 9mm. I think some semi-auto versions were produced as parts kits are available and not considered class 3.

It’s reallly amazing that people who enforce our laws don’t know the difference between a machine gun and a sub-machine gun.
Machine guns are belt fed whereas submachine guns are magazine fed.

I was expecting a 50 cal. or at least an M60 machine gun.
What I see in the photos is just some gang-banger tricked out handgun with the ability to be automatic.

I can’t tell from the pictures, but......
I believe I have seen a couple of these things at gun shows. It is classified as a pistol, because the “folding stock” does not unfold. It is semi-auto, of course.
Still probably illegal in New York.
