Would this Dem Ticket be unbeatable in 2016 (Vanity)
April 11, 2015 | Din Maker

OK, I admit it; I'm really scared. IMO, our last hope is to elect a "Ronald Reagan" style Conservative in 2016. Another four years of having a Saul Alinsky disciple in the White House will totally finish destroying this great nation that many of us knew as children and for most of our adult life. Now, what scares me is this:

There is "talk", like it is already a foregone conclusion, that the Dem Ticket in 2016 will be Hillary Clinton and HUD Secretary Julian Castro. I'm wondering; would that Ticket, first woman POTUS and first Latino VEEP, be unbeatable? And, if that is going to be the Dem Ticket, what can we do to stop them from winning? I know that many FReepers abhor the very thought of "Identity Politics", but, what about a Latino candidate for Prez (The name Ted Cruz comes to mind.) and a woman VEEP? Our culture is not demographically tilted for our team to win on principles and ideology; we're outnumbered. Thank God that most DemocRATS don't vote because, on Election Day, they're in the crack house, the jail house, the half-way house, or the HO house. But, the last two Presidential Elections proved that we can no longer count on that to pull us over the Finish Line as victors.

Don’t use the word “scared”.
Just don’t.

Debates as they currently exist are a farce. Softball questions for the Dems, and gotcha questions for the Republicans...nothing is really “debated” at all. Under these conditions no Dem would turn down a debate, it’s just more mindless TV for the low information voter and a trap for Republicans.

Being brave is doing your duty
even while scared.

The time to stand is fast approaching.
Be ready.

I don’t think Hillary Clinton is unbeatable, and am not nearly as sure as some seem to be that she’ll be the nominee.

I think that it’s much more fluid and “up in the air” than it seems.

So, the Democrats are not unbeatable. I do think that is the narrative they’d like you to believe, though.

Hillary would be utterly sliced and diced in a debate with Cruz
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Yes, and that carries a lot of weight with (1)people like you who are informed and (2)people who are undecided but watch the Debates with an open mind. The problem is about 55 percent of the people who will vote do NOT fall into either one of the two categories aforementioned. Sad to say, stupid people are still allowed, and encouraged, to vote.

First of all, Elizabeth Warren, or any viable Democratic candidate, will NOT challenge Hillary. People fear the Clintons and their diabolical means of retribution. Secondly, most people don’t give a rat’s rear about all the things you mentioned. She’s a DemocRAT, a woman, and they recognize her name. That’s all they need to know to vote for the witch.

Well, sad to say, my dear lady, Sarah Palin has been so demonized by the main-stream media, she is virtually un-electable. I think that’s why she did not run against Begich for the AK Senate seat in 2014. I’d go for Gov. Susana Martinez (NM) but two Hispanics on the ticket, might not fly. Nikki Haley would be fine with me. I don’t know much about Gov. Mary Fallin of OK but, being from an ultra-Conservative State, she’s got to be acceptable.

I look primarily at the Electoral College when weighing these kinds of questions. Since 1992, the most number of electoral votes won by a Republican was 284 by Bush in 2004. And that was against a pretty dumbass/boring candidate in the middle of a highly-supported War on Terror.

Since 1992, the electorate has gotten 10% less white, and Democrat candidates are winning between between 70-80% of the non-white vote. This year, the white vote will be less than 70% of the population. The math is getting tougher for Republican candidates. The Democrat starts out with basically about 240 electoral votes, which means that of the 9 or 10 swing states, the hildebeast will need one or two swing states to win.

If Walker is the nominee, I’d bet good money that the unions will make it their mission in life to deliver Ohio and the other midwestern states to her. And Bush is a non-starter - a LOSER of the highest order. The Democrats want Bush so badly because they know he can’t and won’t win. Watch as voters in open primary states come into the GOP’s primary process and push him hard. He’s a damn patsy.

Something has to change. A mushy middle moderate candidate isn’t cutting it; voters will see a liberal on one side and and liberal-imitator, and they’ll go for the true thing every time. We need someone who can drive conservative turnout.. it’s our best hope. We can’t rely on the idea of squeaking past 270 electoral votes; we need someone who can shock the nation with conservative turnout.

The sooner we realize our country is finished, no election will fix it, and no election will be allowed to fix it, the sooner we can focus on getting our liberty back. The thing we call the USA is a growing threat to out liberty.

So, what is the solution? What can we do? I refuse to throw up my hands and give up and do nothing. Give us some guidance here. You gave us the diagnosis, now how about giving us the cure.

I think you’re off about 7 percent. A ham sandwich would get 47 percent of the vote if it was on the DemocRAT ticket.

Mary Falin is a complete joke.
_____________________________________________________________

I do not know that much about Governor Fallin. If she is a “complete joke”, how did she get elected Governor in the most Conservative State in the U.S.? Fill us in on what the problems are with her. Please give us facts that can be substantiated not just a disagreement over one pet-peeve issue that you and she don’t agree on. One wonders how much you know about her since you misspelled her name. It is spelled with a double “l”; F-a-l-l-i-n.

I expect Cruz to run with Martinez - they’d be a GREAT PAIR.

I’d love it, but, don’t you think two Hispanics at the head of the ticket could be “too much” for most folks? Just wondering.

“Another four years of having a Saul Alinsky disciple in the White House will totally finish destroying this great nation that many of us knew as children and for most of our adult life.”

There is the mantra that will destroy her. And, it’s the truth. Time to pull out Hitlery’s college thesis and reprint it for everyone.

They would not be unbeatable when Cruz points out how dumb Castro is and slimy Clinton is.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

You folks keep forgetting that people don’t care!!! 47% of the American voters don’t give a crap about people being dumb and slimy. Who is the most beloved Democrat in America? A guy who is a womanizer, a rapist and a man who got a blow job from a little girl, not much older than his daughter, in the Oval Office. He just happens to be Hillary’s husband. The only thing people care about is getting their freebies from the gubmint, being able to marry a person of the same sex and keeping the right to kill their little babies in the womb......and unlike many Conservatives, they vote even if they don’t think their candidate is the ideal choice; they don’t stay home and punish America by not voting.

In January of 2008, nobody thought Barack Hussein Obama had a chance of that proverbial snowball of being elected.
