President Cruz will be the worthy commander-in-chief that our heroes need and deserve and he will restore America as a republic under the constitution as she was founded to be.

If senator Cruz wins more delegates than Governor Walker through first 6 primaries (IA, NH, CO, UT, NV & SC), I will move him up as my #1 candidate. Currently 2nd on my list.

Another communist, like Lizard Carville, also has quaking fear of Patriot Ted Cruz. None other than Chris Hayes of MSNBC, the marxist network, put his ego to the side and grudgingly admit that Senator Cruz is a man of intellectual heft. Here's what he said:

In October 2007, I sat in the media gallery of the United States Supreme Court and watched the Solicitor General of Texas [Ted Cruz] argue on behalf of the state that he should have the ability to put to death a Mexican national who had been convicted of raping and murdering two teenage girls in Houston. He won that argument and he was executed by Texas on August 5th, 2008, despite the objections of the United Nations and the International Court of Justice.

At the time, I had no idea who this man arguing on behalf of Texas was. but all I could think was holy crap, this guy is good! It was one of his nine times arguing before the Supreme Court and he was witty, incredibly fast on his feet and clearly had a brilliant legal mind. It is to this day one of the most impressive displays I have ever seen before the Court and I have had the good fortune to spend a lot of time there.

Here's a link to the video. The segment referenced above begins less than a minute in. The commies are on the run because they know that a Cruz missile means their complete and utter destruction! Go Ted go! Crush communism! Exterminate islam! Let freedom ring!

That seems rather passive.

I have chosen Cruz, therefore I must act to help move him to the first spot.

I don't intend for the media to choose candidates. Nor will I passively wait for candidates to be selected for me.

Just FYI -

Iowa caucuses do not allot delegates. Strictly beauty contest. That’s why they’re allowed to go early.

True, except for the Alaskan governor who battled for years as the most attacked politician that we have ever seen, and who helped give us Ted Cruz, and who in 2014 saw 22 of her 24 endorsements win election, and who is still with us, and still totally fearless.

Nice, thanks for posting.

Chris Hayes is the quintessential left-wing metro-sexual, but a bright guy.

He gets it.

Precinct caucuses select uncommitted delegates to county convention which in turn selects delegates to the congressional district convention which in turn selects delegates to the state convention.

Most national delegates aren’t committed to a candidate until the state level convention.

The system favors party regulars or highly organized groups. In 2012, the ‘winners’ were reported to be Santorum and Romney, but the national convention delegates were mostly committed to Ron Paul. That happened because Romney didn’t bother with precinct level organizing.

In 2016, Gov. Branstad political machine is going to be ready.

It would be nice to think so, but I think Carville is not about to change his spots, even on this level. I think the Dems have assessed that Cruz is the ONE candidate who they can demonize with the least amount of trouble, as a dangerous “extremist”, that’s why people like Carville (probably soon to be joined by others)are going through the charade that they admire his intellect and his principled Reagan-like view of things. It is just a charade, and it kills two birds with one stone: it makes key Dem veterans look open-minded (for once) and helps with the counter-intuitive task of putting Cruz front and center as a target. Until and unless they state they’re voting for him, I have to believe they’re acting out of the most duplicitous of motives.

What is up with Palin?

I was shocked that she cancelled out from the NRA convention.

Maybe I shouldn’t have been, but I was. What in the world is up with her?

It could be she’s staying away from the NRA convention, in an effort to win the general election next year. I sure hope that is what it was.

Sure wish she would make things a bit more visible to us out here in America.

Are you an idiot?

That is your summary of the woman who has helped build and who has been leading the conservative movement and who gave us Ted Cruz and many dozens of office holders who are emerging as a better GOP through her involvement in about 150 elections?

In an election where McCain was going to easily win anyway against a "true conservative" who is not even in politics anymore, you wanted the 2008 ticket to turn on itself and destroy the 2010 election which turned out to be an historical victory and which would also have destroyed Sarah Palin by giving the media a theme of the 2008 ticket hating each other and of betrayal and 2008 having all been a sham, and the GOP obviously being trite and shallow, etc, etc.?

“I would not be in the U.S. Senate today if it were not for Governor Palin,” Cruz said.”

I don’t know anything about it, she could be sick for all I know, or there may be some behind the scenes politics.
