Just the mere fact that she’s willing to move from Canada to the UK could indicate that she is emotionally unstable.

They moved to Hereford. That's a rural but fashionable area that retains a lot of old traditions and a sense of Englishness. It's not Londonistan.

A normal European tourist situation (visa) is roughly 90 days. Then you leave. Some countries might pretend that one day out is enough but the rules generally specify that you must remain out for 90 days before you can re-enter. The Schengen treaty specifies all of this. If you want to get around it....you walk in and do the full up visa with paperwork and show intent to stay around. That also implies taxation, your ability to pay for health care, etc. When you look at Hollywood stars who spend time in Europe....they all try to stay within the limits.

Looks like the government and lawyers there are extorting the poor couple. They’re older, too. They shouldn’t be expected to act like spring chickens.

What is the point of Canada being a “dominion” of the queen if a pakistani muslim has more rights and privileges in England than a Canadian?

The UK isn’t one of the Schengen countries, so not sure that’s relevant to this case.

A variation on this theme is is occurring in the U.S. with illegals being given more benefits by the government than citizens (e.g. in-state tuition for illegals). The ruling class loves to pander to those who break the law and abuse those who follow the law.

And don't forget that old poppycock about Britons never, never, never being slaves.

Did the Lord God of Hosts decide not to be with them yet, or was it the other way around? In either case, they evidently forgot.

Canadian women can be very cold, ever since the federal government of Canada implemented the Advisory Council on the Status of Women (1973).

No wonder the Brits are requesting a confirmation of affection!

Let ‘em come to the US. Federal judges ruled decades ago that the Immigration services of the US had no business being in the “marriage business.” What followed, of course, was a flood of special “marriages” and new US citizens.
