The author is consumed with hatred.
Almost demonic.

He accidentally spoke the truth. Read the last line - progressive politics required an absence of God, particularly the Christian faith model.

So Bobamas Black Liberation Theology via Rev Wright and his closet inner Muslim are not strange to this bloke? Wow...
So that day when every knee shall bow day,I wish they would sell pay per view for that I would like to see this Salon dude kicked thru the goal post of life straight into the pit. Just saying

It makes me want to repost the story, with “Muslim,” and “Quran-type” substitutes for his Christian reference.
I would then point Al Jessera toward it.

I’ve looked around about him before. There isn’t anything worthwhile about him, really.
One assumes that he’s for Hillary! because she has not professed any belief in a higher ethereal power one can connote with ‘religion’.

... Our Father who art (or really, art not) in heaven ... Stopped reading right there. There is more than sufficient experience, precedent and progress that derives from 5 millennia of Judeo-Greek-Roman-Christianity than from the screech of the hater. The author would not, himself, remind us, but his co-religionist (yes, it is a religion) are the militant atheists like Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pol-Pot and the others who in a single century drenched the world in blood.

Fer sure, dude! Like, a religion that emphasizes honor and the Golden Rule. How twisted! Not like Wicca or something that worships dirt and trees and you know ... logical stuff like that.
And how about that Cruz guy? Whoa, man! Confessing that he believes in Jesus??? What's up with that? Everyone knows that Christianity is so yesterday. The cool hip people are all into yoga and pantheism or something ...
It's like the prophet Steve Martin used to say: If it wasn't for my lucky astrology mood watch, I wouldn't have ANYTHING to believe in.
Hey, don't bogart the bong, dude!

It’s no wonder liberals are so angry. They have nothing to look forward to, up to. Their poor, pitiful, insignificant life is all there is. Then you die.
Unfortunately for them, that’s not the way it works. My God is a merciful God. A forgiving God. But you, me and the....ummm..misguided? author of this article has a lifetime to ask forgiveness and accept Christ. I don’t think this guy will ever get it. And that’s sad. Because in the not too distant future he will find out that there really is a God. And then it will be too late.
