Why Hillary Can't Be in the Moment
American Thinker ^ | April 18, 2015 | Deborah C. Taylor

Posted on 04/19/2015 7:26:01 AM PDT by Slyfox

Watching Hillary Clinton reach out and touch ordinary Americans is excruciating. In working a crowd of regular folks, Hillary is fingernails on the blackboard in a pantsuit. It is difficult to imagine anyone more out of touch with her own affect, movement, and connection to the people around her. She is unable to talk, touch, listen or smile in a natural manner. She doesn't seem to know what to do with her hands, where to direct her eyes, her scope of awareness is restricted. A blind person with a stick would be better than Hillary Clinton at reading people around her. In the staged and rigidly controlled glimpses of her, we see people positioned a handshake away wishing to be noticed by this woman who may be the next president, growing discouraged and becoming commensurately uncomfortable because Hillary can't see them. Everyone is down on Hillary. The right hates her for moral, patriotic, and ideological reasons, the left wing has a worsening case of Hillaphobia. Those on the left who are not too drug-addled to be aware of politics don't like her because they are driven by narcissistic emotional needs which she does not meet. She cannot reach the anti-traditionalist places where the left likes to be massaged, nor can she humor them with hipness. It's too late for Hillary to blow the smoke of radical transformation, on someone else's dime, up the left-wing's collective keister. Hillary can trot out plausible transgenders when necessary, but fundamentally she chose to stand by her man and political expedience at every point in her career. Just being around her makes people feel uncomfortable and she clearly returns the unhappy condition.

From the article:

Many people think Hillary Clinton is a psychopath without a conscience who cares nothing about her husband's betrayals on a personal level. That formulation does not seem supported by what has leaked out about the Clinton's relationship. It is more likely that she is a wellspring of anger hiding behind a smile you can hang laundry on.

This is the only thing I disagree with the author. Bill and Hillary are both psychopaths who have paired up. They complete each other as the psychopathic traits that one does not have the other supplies.

Source: "Without Conscience" by Dr. Robert Hare. He has a whole chapter on paired-up psychopaths.

Depending on whether one listens to the sycophants or anti-Clinton commentators, the Scooby-van was a masterful success or grandiose failure.

Per some posts, the Scooby-van tour was to continue to Colorado. For some unknown reason, in Iowa, Hillary, apparently alone, was seen carrying her own luggage onto a flight (with no First Class) bound for NJ/NY area.

Health issues? Exhaustion?

A lack of attention/attendees at her Scooby-van tour venues?

Too much criticism of the Scooby-van fiasco?

One will notice the LACK of any information regarding the abrupt end to the Scooby-van tour. One will also notice the absence of (live) Hillary from the media. There were, however, some reports that she/her team released another video shortly after her returning home.

“Because she’s all we have”

I’m loving the fact that so many dhimmicrat strategerists are recognizing this. The look of panic is priceless. I hope we don’t overplay our hand and give them the incentive to kick her to the curb in favor of someone they can unite around.

Which is why and how they've stayed together. She knows that she is nothing without him, politically, though. Must really irk her that he's her ticket to the presidency!

There isn’t a moment I would want Hillary in, none she could make better, and none she couldn’t ruin.

She got weed for Bill in Iowa and didn't need to go on to Colorado.

I can’t imagine who that someone might be.

Having traveled in RJs, like the one the Witch used, I can state they’re a notably cramped, uncomfortable, and distasteful way to fly, just not quite as bad as the turboprops they replaced. With all her resources, it surprises me she wasn’t able to get a private jet to take her home, unless she had some kind of emergency that made taking the RJ absolutely essential.

I agree with you. She only got upset about Bill’s dalliances because it made her look bad and exposed her real agenda, which is to procure raw power, otherwise she could care less about his foibles.

"I can’t imagine who that someone might be."

Could it be, Satan?

I need a picture of the Dana Carvey's Preacher Lady character to make this post complete.

Yep, it grows wild in Iowa and can often be seen growing around freeway off ramps.

“I can’t imagine who that someone might be.”

Sanders, Warren, Jean Claude Keree, are all more charismatic. Sanders has an Alinsky tongue that can fascinate listeners.

That’s because you are a sane person ;’)

Look at what they’ve done the last two election cycles. They unceremoniously kicked her to the curb once before when Øbongo took the stage. He was (and is) a big nothing but they rallied around him and pushed him into the highest office on the planet - twice.

Øbongo hasn’t done one single constructive thing in all the years he’s been in office - but they don’t care. As a party obsessed with style over substance he epitomizes their perception (delusion?!) of presidential demeanor.

When they look at him they don’t see the man who alienates our allies and panders to our enemies. They just see the man who refuses to negotiate with ReThuglicans. That’s all that they care about.

I guarantee that they will find (dredge up?!) another Øbongo just in time to take on whatever pubbie we have left after the GOPe destroys Cruz or Walker.

No, Tom, I think that was yet another stupid, inept attempt to make her appear "normal." I had posted on Twitter---not that she reads my Twitter---"10 Things Hillary Has Never Done" such as change a tire, cook her own meal. I don't recall if "carry her own bags" was one, but it should have been. I think the brainiacs said "Oh, Hillary, why don't we have you ride coach class and carry your own bag?"

I would have loved to have heard the screech that went up at that!

They will eventually unite against her behind O’Malley. Don’t know if that will beat her, but my bet is on him to challenge.
