The Eagles have reached an agreement in principle with quarterback Tim Tebow, according to multiple media reports

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, who first reported the news, said that Tebow will be in Philadelphia Monday to sign the contract. Glazer also reported that the Eagles are convinced he has improved since the last time he was in the NFL after spending time with his quarterback coach Tom House.

Denver was 7 - 4 with Tebow as its starting quarterback, as I recall.

Drunk posting again huh? Read the story, even the story admits he’s probably not going to be on the team come the season.

They think they found someone who can finally hit the high notes on "Take It To The Limit" on the next tour.

Uhoh, it's actually the football Eagles...No one is sure what they're thinking.

He has spent 2 years improving his game, and he already has a better record than Johnny Clipboard

Tebow is a terrible NFL quarterback except for his winning NFL record and his playoff win over a 12 and 4 team.

San Diego Chargers...but the Spanos Criminal Enterprise is getting ready to move them to a cesspool liberal city.

I just love all the people who say Tebow is not an NFL quarterback, or can not be an NFL quarterback, when he just happens to be a winning NFL quarterback. this includes taking a down in the dumps team to the playoffs and beating the reigning Super Bowl champions.

No The defense allowed 15 less points a game than when Orton started. If the defense gave Orton the same performance they gave Tebow he’d have gone 4-1 instead of 1-4. If they’d played with Tebow the way they played with Orton he wouldn’t have won a single game. Meanwhile he completed less than 50% of his passes and did a 5 game streak of throwing less than 10 times. You can’t win long term with a QB that throws less than 10 times a game. He’s just not an NFL QB.

Glad to see him playing again, too bad it is in a cesspool liberal city.

Well, Jesus did go amongst the sinners.

4 coaches didn’t want to start him. If he had it in him he’d be a starter. As it is he’s on his 4th team, and he’s 4th on the depth chart.

You do realize that every single time you insist I’m wrong I’m proven right.

Every
single
time.

So keep your pennies. Somebody wrong as often as you are needs them.

Trent Dilfer led the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl championship in 2000-01. He was cut before training camp the following summer, and ended up signing as a backup for Seattle.

Football is a team sport. Sometimes a team can be successful in spite of a marginal quarterback.

That’s all very nice, but the fact is the team went 7 - 4 with Tebow as the starting quarterback.

What NFL team isn’t in a cesspool liberal city?

Good point. Cannot think of one, not familiar with most of them, and most cities have large sections of Amish settlements.

The broncos defense improved from 32nd in the league to 24th the year tebow took them to the playoffs - a lot of improvement, but if defense wins championships, the denver d was not getting the job done. The D stood up at the goal line well, but they were not the great defense that some say.

‘Winning’ does weird things to teams. And people that can make others ‘win’ are rare. Some can throw a team on their shoulders and will them to win. Others don’t have the skill, can’t carry the team, but they somehow manage to win.

funny how the broncos changed one player, the QB, and went from a losing season to playoff material.
and it was the replacements rookie season.

huh. just luck, i guess.

then again, how many other seasoned QBs didn’t make the playoffs?

Actually Foles was his 4th string QB last year and ended up starting. No matter what happens he is a breath of fresh air compared to most of the NFL.

The Patriots wanted to keep him, as they saw improvement. I am hoping the two years of working on his throwing has paid off. If he has improved at all, he might start in the Eagle’s offense. I would love to see his hard work pay off, in spite of both his critics and his fans.
