I would agree with Cronos regarding Wahhabism in the ME....though I’m not so sure it’s corrupting Islam...it IS Islam and the one form of which has the front seat world wide as well.
There are the “softer sides of Islam” groups but they’ll all unit when it comes to anyone they perceive in the way of Islamic Rule World wide....or be silent.

Well they'll all be opposing America when the time comes....those who aren't will simply remain silent, as we've seen time and again, only because it benefits them by doing so. If it comes to their heads you can be sure they will be loyal to Islam whatever form of it is doing the chopping and or ordering it..
He seemed to think it helped radicalize the forms of Islam in the region.

I also question why so far secular (pro democracy, separation of Church & State) opposition, whether in Iran or Saudi Arabia, has not been supported in any meaningful manner, and in fact been largely silenced? In Turkey as well.
The mentioned opposition grps are not blind or stupid. Obviously when and if they see their movement is not supported by the U.S. or Western gov’t, instead the Islamic gov’ts are by the same Western powers, it’s akin to bashing your head against a brick wall.
So, the movement never entirely dies, but the logical way for the average person in those movements is to make do with what they got, ie go with the flow, make sure you don’t put yourself in harms way when you’ve no likelihood of succeeding, or when your movement is immediately labelled a “terrorist organization” should they take up arms to fight the Islamists, when you can for example capitalize on working with the Islamic status quo, be it for your own benefits.
Those pictures Cronos posted of Afghnistan and Pakistan make salient points. We’ve increasingly seen secular gov’ts in the M.E. and North Africa overthrown since the end of 1970s. For one reason or another. I know for a fact that “official” education & social values were becoming increasingly non-Islamic in mentioned countries, as well as in Iran. Never Saudi Arabia though. Then, same secular gov’t were undermined (for one reason or another) leading to revolt, war and eventually overthrow of gov’ts who were largely “pro-America”.
In the last decade and half we continue to see Islamic-style gov’ts continue to overtake in various countries in that region; we continue to see Islamic resurgence, not only in the so-called Islamic world, but also in the West. How did that happen? This can only be if the Western gov’ts support their Islamic buddies (for whatever reason). You gradually see the undercurrents & changes in values to more Islamic ones; but these changes can not happen w/out support and financing.
Yes I can agree with all your post.....so why is it happening this way...why is the USA so involved?
This shift that’s going on is with purpose and Saudi is supported by us.....but i think it’s the Globalist agenda playing out....they have to have the ME included in the NWO...and why I also think they are forcing migration to other more Western countries. None of the World’s leaders a re “stopping” the immigration and migration from Muslim nations into Western Nations...they’re encouraging and facilitating it.
I’ve heard so much about this NWO.. it’s still frankly a mystery to me. I’m now almost convinced there is a bigger, grander overall scheme/agenda.. It’s increasingly a very connected world we live in - too many dependencies - it seems the trend will be ongoing, and simply doesn’t bode well for us, in the West too.
All this Global talk of “Universal Citizenship” and the like is part of it....’Diversity’ and ‘Multiculturalism’ and the like falls under it as well.
When Obama said “We are on the thresh hold of the transformation of America”....that too has been in the works.... HE was the ‘cheerleader’ for it all to move the population forward...and it worked. The citizens bought it because the truth was hidden...and has been.
But now they are moving in plain sight....and all the Gov. Leaders are on board. As I said just look at how they no longer use the word “Assimilate” regarding immigration....now it's Integration”...meaning cultures 'along side' each other in their own perspective communities with their own culture.. So moving Muslims throughout the Western country's comes with that program. To educate them, train them and cause them to adapt to NWO thinking.... it's not going to work though....in time they will turn.
The International Leaders know full well the NWO means somebody is going to be seated at that table....so alot of the revenue we see being floated worldwide is to gain the power that it welds if you have it. Which will determine who sits at that table. The movement of Gold, Bnaking and Investment companies as well as merges...the Movement of Companies and workforce....borders being fluid or opened as in the EU....it all falls under what is coming.
Just check the Clinton Foundation site....who are huge Globalists working hard for their part in the NWO. Push some of those headers and pay attention to the vocabulary they use.
SAme with Bill Gates...and Soros and others who have all these foundations, which are really money laundering joints to push the Global Agenda into countries and thereby being able to go after the resources of those countries.
What you said makes a lot of sense. We may not know all the appropriate terminology, but certainly, day-to-day, ‘commonly’, the descriptions you mentioned apply.
Personally, it just doesn’t ‘feel’ right - something amiss.
But for those who never were exposed to or personally knew the scene before or during, say, 1970s, and the younger generation, who is only ‘taught’ the more recent agenda through the media, and is often distracted by peripheral personal priorities, socially and economically, the gradual indoctrination is much easier.

That could be since they are the strictist from what I understand...when you listen or read what some of the Saudi Clerics say it really is deadly stuff they preach to those who do listen.

Exactly....it’s operations are everywhere...but they don’t headline it....it’s all behind foundations and organizations.

Cronos may have his own ideas. From my perspective, it’s the islamic teachings they spread and fund which is problematic.
The content of what is taught also makes a big difference. We know for example verses in the koran that are more violent and can be ‘interpreted’ to incite discord. Not that the iranian mullahs don’t do it; but their outreach is much more limited as are their funds. Not to mention that muslims worldwide are approx 85% sunni & much closer to wahabi/salafi islam than shia brand, most likely to send their kids to a sunni school than a shia one, or generally accept or more receptive to wahabi/salafi teachings. Also the wahabi & salafi brands are more purist in their interpretation & application of those verses & islam in general.
But ultimately it’s the spread & financing of islamic teachings (education), especially outside SA that makes a difference. It is social engineering.
