How stupid is Boehner really? "Never happens again"? What does he imagine is going on over there? Killed by an airstrike, tortured to death, or beheaded, any American in the custody of these jihadis should be understood to be dead already. If they get rescued, great. I'm all for it. But is it really Boehner's notion that kidnapping and holding Americans hostage should provide perfect safety for the enemy? That "nothing like this" (i.e., turning jihadis into crispy critters) should "ever happen again"?

This is Boehner “conservative theatre”.
Posturing and saber-rattling to hide the fact that, in his actual job, he’ll do nothing to oppose the Kenyan monkey.

Instead of rightly placing blame on Obama, Boehner seems to be backing him up. Pathetic.

Boehner is part of the vast right wing NCLA.
No Controlling Legal Authority.
How many divisions does Boehner command?

Much as I despise Obama, he doesn’t own the blame on this one. People who go and work in those hellholes already know or should know the risk they’re taking. This is a collateral-damage situation.... it happens sometimes.

this is not a time for excuses," Boehner said The same could be said when Boehner and McConnell try to explain why the "Republican" Congress has to approve with Obama's legislation.

For all of the times we hear of drone strikes which didn’t kill their intended targets, it’s a not just a little suspicious that this strike killed an American hostage. Drone strikes generally have a quite limited kill zone. It’s usually one missile from one drone. It doesn’t seem likely that Taliban leaders would have board of directors meetings in the same room as hostages. How do we know that the Taliban didn’t kill them, in retaliation for the drone strike?
