Colorado businessman blames 'stoned' workers for move to SC
FOX NEWS ^ | April 24, 2015

When workers at his Colorado business went to pot, Mark Brawner said it was enough for him to roll out of the Rockies and head for South Carolina.

Brawner, who ran Little Spider Creations out of an old Denver warehouse for years until this month, told KUSA-TV Thursday he moved because pot was hurting his company. He said employees started to come to work stoned after the state legalized the drug for recreational use in 2012.

Come to Greenville SC. It will knock you out how nice it is.
Plus BMW HQ is down the road and all the companies that supply. Great place to live. Unreal downtown.

The continued popularity of the senior senator from SC makes me suspect that a good percentage of that state’s population is walking around in a drug-induced daze also.

Oh, well that’s a different animal than the OTR guys...I really feel for them. I knew a few OTR guys that did it for a few years and they had nothing but regrets. One lost his wife to one of his former neighbors. A real disaster according to them.

BTW I’d bet 30 percent of the local box truck delivery jockeys in the LA area are illegals and some of the trucks look like something out of mad max.

“What happens if a worker causes an accident while hungover on pot.”

What happens if a worker causes an accident while hungover on booze?

The evil capitalist business owner pays.

potheads have their reputation for a reason.

Only because of ignorant propaganda and outright lies from the anti-MJ crowd. Keep on perpetuating the myths, though. Seems you got plenty of support round here.

Well I’m sure your joking but it wouldn’t matter your still required to be clean to work in or around commercial nuclear power. Screw up and your banned from working at any nuclear plant for 5 years at least and if you refuse to be randomly tested it’s a lifetime ban.

I can have a drink or two and not get drunk.

I'm happy for you!

I don't get drunk either. It just gives me a headache, and eats my liver and brain. Seriously, some people cannot physically or mentally use ethanol in a reasonable manner. So what choice do they have ? Toxic addictive chemicals peddled by the Kings learned men of medicine, or risk having the same rights as Jews in 30's Germany?

Cannabis is no reason to send in the Dupont Nazi Drug Death squads to violate US citizens rights!

The Drug Nazis would kick in GW and TJ's doors, shoot their dogs, and seize their property today.

Injured on the job?
The oil companies have a policy that if you are on location work in and someone gets injured.
The testers come out and pi$$ test everyone on location...even if you are no where near the injured worker

I was injured once by a stoned stoner.
Once is enough

That’s a policy issue. Alcohol is legal too but you can require your workers not to be drunk!

Don’t know all the in’s and out’s but it ought to be possible to measure the degree of THC still in the smoker.
