Ten years ago friends, family and colleagues laughed at me when I said the liberal progressives intended to destroy our nation.
They don’t seem to have much to say lately.
I came to that conclusion many years ago when I read accounts of what the Weather Underground and associated groups meeting discussed in one seminal meeting. In this meeting, at which Bill Ayers was present, they collectively agreed that when they “took power” over 25 million people would have to be executed. They were the ones they deemed would not be susceptible to reeducation.
It was charming, but unfounded, the assumption that the spiritual course of America would not shake it from its dominance.
It is a sad has-been, living off what is left of its laurels.
This isn’t impossible to change but the change sought has to be of God.
