How likely is it that the men who do get AIDS from heterosexual contact are still having as many partners as homosexuals.
I would like a solid link to the 20 year shorter lifespan for homosexuals as quoted in this article. I have been unable to nail that fact down.
I worked in interior design in Atlanta in the 80s, I have some stories too. I saw little that I would describe as gaiety, lots of unhappiness, brokeness, and pain under a veneer of pretense and drama.

The wife of one of my friends had a hetero neighbor who liked to play softball. That woman said she was disgusted by all the lesbian players who tried to put the moves on young, non-lesbian girls.
From the time I spent interacting with the ‘lifestyle,’ most of the homosexual people I met had a very typical persecution complex, and eagerly encouraged it in everyone else.
To put it simply, nearly all of them were VERY unhappy and wanted someone to blame it on. Those who were, supposedly, happy bought into the idea that homosexuals were being horribly persecuted, and quickly degenerated from being normal, cheerful-most-of-the-time people to shrieking drama queens in the span of under a year.
It’s amazing how quickly hatred and bile can trap someone.
I’ve seen close friends turn into bitter enemies because one side had bought into the same-sex-marriage-is-the-same-as-straight-marriage thing, and the other side might have said so on the surface, but then he and his ‘husband’ went and started pressuring their disabled roommate into a threesome.
And oh, the DRAMA that happened afterwards when that came to light. The initial friend was turned off of the gay lifestyle after that, so I guess that’s one bit of good news.

I have heard stories of “gifting”, where gays that for some reason want to get HIV will meet up with someone that has it and have unprotected perverse sex to get HIV.

Larry Kramer is a homosexual, and I know too many blacks who use the word “n___a” and “n_____r”. I know those words are all over the music industry. It seriously wouldn’t surprise me even a little bit to see it as part of title in either print or music.
It’s virtually impossible for a male to get HIV from a female, so that part of the male statistic is one that I question.
