I've seen many videos of people arrested, doing crazy violent things trying to escape or just acting out. There's nothing unbelievable about him hurting himself.
Spinal surgery has been debunked, but even wearing a seat belt in a police bus I suspect a sufficiently drug-addled punk could manage a spinal injury on his own.

You are a thinker. Scary isn’t it? What a line of crap delivered in the total absence of evidence, but a lot of CYA, at the same time that release is denied of the autopsy report.
Cops better hope they *fix* the lab report— that the report shows lots of drugs indicated, enough to break your throat and sever your spine. A whopper, so far.
