WikiLeaks Adds Thousands of Hacked Sony Emails

WikiLeaks has added “thousands” more hacked Sony Pictures Entertainment emails to its searchable database.

WikiLeaks made the announcement Thursday in a posting on its Twitter account.

The move came two weeks after WikiLeaks disclosed that it had published 30,287 documents and 173,132 emails stemming from last winter’s cyber-attack on Sony Pictures Entertainment. WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange said in an April 16 statement that information was newsworthy, adding, “It belongs in the public domain. WikiLeaks will ensure it stays there.”

"As some of you may surmised, the president will be fundraising on our street Thursday.

 

I spoke to a couple of officers in an unmarked car and they told me that people will be arriving by 6AM. They couldn’t tell me when the president would be here but it sounded as if it would be around nine. They told me that the street would be totally closed off and no one will be allowed to come or go at all starting a bit before he got here until he had left, but they wouldn’t say how long that would be.

 

Like the rest of you my wife and I want to go to the gym, go to work, allow the baby nurse to leave, the nanny to come, the housekeeper to come, workers to come and go etc. I’m sure we’re not the only one to come home shocked by all of this.

 

I take it that they will be at 965. Can you folks give your neighbors some details tonight so we can plan our day tomorrow?

Its Michael Rapino at 985 Oakmont St, I am sorry this event is going to cause some traffic issues. The event staff, security arrive 6am Thursday - we expect the President approx. 9:15 am. They will close off street for that 90 min he is at the house is what I have been told. They will not allow any street parking that from 6am. My apology for the inconvenience

Hi Michael -- Rick Stengel just passed along your email and said to shoot you a note. I think he gave a brief background on ServiceNation, and would be great to connect when I'm back in LA.

 

We're making some great progress engaging the entertainment industry to help popularize and normalize young Americans doing a year of full-time national service in AmeriCorps, City Year, etc, etc. We're working with the Clinton Foundation as Chelsea makes this issue one of her priorities.

 

Here's a recap of an event we did in November with her and Hillary, moderated by Rob Reiner, and attended by a bunch of show creators, producers, and show runners as we talk to them about script integration. Great response so far.
