A mother from Riverton, Utah makes a shocking discovery -- pictures of her children on websites connected to porn.
Brittany Champagne was on Instagram Wednesday night when she came across her 8-year-old daughters picture on somebody elses profile.
I clicked on there and I found a girl claiming to be 11-years-old as my daughter, and she's a bisexual cheerleader and her whole page is about gay pride, Champagne said.
This was clearly a fake account, so Champagne did some digging and made more disturbing discoveries -- pictures of Champagne herself and her 9-month-old son.

Her name is Brittany Champagne? Really?
LOLOL
She found the first one on Instagram, not a porn site. As jjotto said, it’s right up there in the text.
Pardon me for making a statement that may upset some FReepers.
ANYBODY, especially parents, who allows anybody in their family to be involved in social media is nuts.
Social media is evil.
Instagram is a porn site??
Don’t get me mixed up in this ignorance.
That fake Instagram profile page apparently then linked to porn sites.
See post #17
You can also just search for an image:

There are a lot of freaks out there these days
???
I don’t understand your point?
You say that while posting to a discussion internet board...which is, while rudimentary, a type of social media.
:)
This is what I was talking about:
Did you know that you can create a totally, top secret group on Facebook that only you, and people you invite to join, can see?

That's her stripper name.
Exactly what I thought!
Sorry, I don’t consider FR to be social media. It is political media, a whole different animal.
FReepers don’t use FR like a diary, documenting everything that happens in their lives. FReepers do not post pics of their kids. They don’t post selflies.
I understand.
Take a photo you have and use google image to search for any images that match that person.
Go to google.com then click on Images in upper right then click on the camera icon to browse to the image on your pc.
It uploads and google will do a face recognition search.
I have found 1 photo of me when a photo was taken in 2003 on my last day at a job. A friend stored it on his home server and google searched it and it is now on the internet.
#6 and 10: Then Facebook changes the permissions as they have done time and again. Once the photos are out there they are out there.
You can ask Google to find an image on the net.
So you don’t have to visit any porn sites to see if an image that belongs to you is being used.
You can let Google, or another search engine if you prefer, tell you if that image is posted on the net anywhere.
Thanks. Reading on my phone now but I’ll look at that later. My grandson is on facebook too so I worry.
