Clinton Foundation Taking Money From Accused Rights Violator MARRAKECH, Morocco — May 6, 2015 By MATTHEW MOSK, BRIAN EPSTEIN and BRIAN ROSS ABC NEWS MICHAEL ISIKOFF

Former president Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation’s Global Initiative are being hosted this week at a five-star luxury hotel in Morocco by one of the world's most controversial mining companies, criticized for "serious human rights violations" by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice.

The Moroccan government-owned mining company OCP operates in disputed international territory in a remote part of the Saharan Desert and the firm has been criticized for removing the resources without adequately compensating the impoverished people who live there.

“Any time the human rights of a population are systematically suppressed in this type of way it's a serious concern, and I think it's worthy of attention,” said David McKean, who has studied the issue for the RFK center.

OCP is paying $1 million to help host the prestigious event and throw a private cocktail reception, to the dismay of human rights activists.

This would be a bombshell, career ender if a Republican presidential candidate was in any way shape or form associated with it. The question would be never ending. Within a couple days, his campaign would be referred to as "troubled," and "controversial." No matter what explanations were offered, they would not stop the "controversy."

Silly, of course. It's the Clinton's we're talking about.

Say - for example - it was discovered that Meg Whitman's husband had been taken on the private jet of a known pedophile to an island hideaway where trysts with underage girls were routine, enjoyed by various very wealthy men.

Forget it. Instant deal over, instant investigations announced. The entire Republican primary race would be said to be "scandal-ridden" from that day forth.

But, as I said, we're talking about the Clinton's.

Sorry about apostrophe violation. The plural of Clinton is “Clintons,” of course.

It’s being reported now so ABC can claim they vetted the Clintons. But six months before the election, this story would never see the light of day.

But, Bill has, expenses and bills to pay. However, he earns his millions. After all, its hard work because he researches two hours a day for the Foundation. Don’t ask him hard questions. He just works there.

Yes, yes - but look at all the good the Foundation does all over the world - why make an issue of a little thing like this when the big picture is all the benefits they give to so many people - the latest theme being used to defend the Clintons - what a racket - they take big money from all sorts of people and spread it around and they get the credit for all the good they do - h*ll give me some of that money and watch all the fine things I can accomplish.....

Clinton versus Kennedy

Old democratic aristocracy going after new democratic nouveau riche aristocracy.

Pass the popcorn, this is getting good.
