Social science was never going to save marriages male-female infrastructure. What it can doif the narrative the data reveals isnt manipulatedis reveal what is really going on.
Now that the Supreme Courts oral arguments are behind us, and the justices have already privately cast their votes about the future (and the history) of marriage, perhaps its possible that the social science of marriage, sexuality, and child outcomes can catch its breath. Better yet, perhaps it can operate without the pressure-cooker of politically acceptable narratives.
But after three years, and two separate inquisitions by my own university, Ive come to conclude that the beatings will continue until morale improves, as the saying goes. Or in my case, until I capitulate and admit I was wrong. Im not above admitting mistakes, but neither am I prone to the sort of reeducation that is being pursued.

God set down some laws a long time ago, no amount of political correctness will ever change them.
What I find interesting is that friendly studies are where homosexual men admit (50 to 60 percent) that they are in open relationships, and that such relationships are harmless to children. I don’t like the idea of open relationships regardless of what “scientists” tell me though.
For later
More politicized, snipped, framed and massaged “science” -— like Global Warming. Gays come out. Trannies come out. Will the truth ever come out?
I see it a purely evolutionary response. The least qualified parental members of a species threatened by overpopulation has mutated to homo status.
I’m with you...
We Agree! IMO Science is mans attempt to explain as best man can the wonders of God’s Creation. Science therefore can Never refute what God hath done.
Calling a skunk cabbage a rose doesn’t make it a rose.
Two “married” men are never going to adopt a young boy for the purpose of having sex with him.
Of course not. That’s never going to happen.
Here is what the NFSS (along with the National Health Information Survey) can and does still tell us. These conclusions hold true, whether you read my original study, its follow-up, Simon Cheng and Brian Powells new analyses, or crunch the numbers yourself:
- The parental same-sex relationships reported by adult children are not, on average, long-term ones.
- The longer those parental relationships lasted, the betteron averagewere the outcomes for adult children.
- Very few same-sex relationships lasted the entirety of the respondents childhood. Critics cried foul. I cried, Reality!
- The stability afforded by continuously intact mom-and-dad families pays benefits, on average, well into adulthood. They remain the standard against which all other forms ought to be compared.
Not a chance. Maintaining a lie as if it were true requires constant reinforcement and the absolute suppression of dissent.
Because everyone knows differences = bad. Which seems odd coming from the ideology that worships “diversity.”
Nope it never will happen.

As I noted, a friendly study by Papleau and Beals, 2004, indicates that homosexual men in the range of 50 to 60 percent admit that their relationship is an open relationship, but also that they figure that since the unfaithfulness is consensual, it’s also harmless to children. IDK, but given the developing intelligence of my son and daughter, they would likely suspect, figure out, and be offended if I and my wife did such a thing. Just from my perspective as a man married to a woman, I don’t think it would be harmless to our children if we did the equivalent.
No way two guys who stuff objects up strangers rectums in a public restroom would dare molest an unrelated male living in their home.
Well, Vince Lombardi was a totally different case. The only thing I find demeaning about the logic of political correctness is how stupid or primal it assumes people are, I doubt everyone is going to go ape on someone who is homosexual just because a bad act by someone who is homosexual such as Vince Lombardi hits the news. There are some fringe individuals who will go nuts, but most people, even conservatives won’t take it as a license to hate all homosexuals. Yet according to the PC side, hearing something bad happen at the hands of a protected class is truly encouraging hatred. I mean it’s absurd reasoning is all I can say.
I don’t think Professor Regnerus was anywhere near prepared for the malicious animus that awaiting him for his scientific inquiry. I hope that these attacks have hardened him and convinced him how most “science” nowadays is merely just another religion.
