How would an interview eliminate fraud? Do you think these people can’t look you in the eye and still lie?
“Eliminate”? Sounds like a liberal canard. Bad enough the fraud that welfare itself is; the typical pound-folly/penny-wisdom of the welfare statists merely invite more fraud via this avenue.
Making people actually apply is racist. Just send them the cards without them actually applying.
EBT is undignified because people will see one’s EBT card in the grocery store and know that one is on welfare. A new app will let people punch in their desires on their obamaphones and have it all delivered to their front doors. Another app will cook it for them. Yet another app will allow them to surreptiously order up marijuana and crack.

They should be able to register them to vote by phone at the same time. Talk about a party buying votes. Why can’t our weakling Republicans see their future if this is allowed to continue? All they have to do is look at what happened to their party in California.
As a taxpayer, I would hope that they have at least a series of questions (in addition to verifications) that they can ask to demonstrate that they are not applying for assistance in a fraudulent manner.
Sure, the "professional" moochers know tricks around some of it, but let's not make it any easier on them.
You haven't learned much over the past 6 years have you Grasshopper. Next time you file paperwork for Benefits make sure you check the box for minorities. Your claim will be expedited. If questioned tell them your grandmother was a Mexican or Croatian immigrant.
Soon it will just make the most sense that EVERYBODY automatically gets their rations! No need to call in every month that way.
