NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Members of the New Orleans city council approved plans Thursday for a National Slave Ship Museum.
If the proposal wins final approval, the museum will be located at the Celeste Street Wharf in the Lower Garden District.
Supporters say the museum will enhance and perpetuate New Orleans' status as a major cultural hub and destination by recreating the saga of the African Diaspora story of slave trade in the United States along the Mississippi River, via the Port of New Orleans.
The proposed $170 million museum will include a life-size interactive slave ship built inside a new five-story building and a riverfront park with an amphitheater and two replica African villages.

Wanna bet a visitor won’t ever hear about the slave traders or how slaves were captured, just the ships?
Or about the new golden shackles today that bribe black people to grovel to their liberal masters?
The important thing is to CONSTANTLY remind them of what happened 200 years ago, so they maintain the hate and keep voting dem.
I want a monument to the Irish immigrants who were forced into fighting for Lincoln’s war as they got off the boats.
I want a life-sized boat that they came over in. A replicated village of Ireland during the famine, and lots of life size replicas of maimed and killed Irish soldiers.

To keep voting for the party that (1) stood up for slavery; (2) promulgated Jim Crow after the rival party finally got slavery abolished throughout the USA; (3) sponsors the new golden shackles slavery.

What's REALLY needed is a National Slave Space Ship Museum.
I don’t say much for self reliance myself, but God reliance there is more to speak of. And the bible shows He despises slavery.

On the list of NO attractions, I am thinking this will rate pretty low. “Gee honey, tonight would you like to go to the french quarter for dinner and music, or go to the slave ship museum?”
What can one say? And the terrible thing is here in NYC/USSR there are many white people, mostly women, who really feel guilty and bad about the “plight”.
If they ruin this next election for us, I’ll be quite angry at them.
